Sort of half way - not quite over the ankle but not the ones that are mainly inside the training shoe...

They are, not ankle socks, great quality, depending on trainer used you may see a tiny bit of the sock top
But as a no show fan . I am happy with it as no sweat on shoe,stain wise.. sweat in sock not shoe

I purchased the large socks and I'm size 12 they fit fine but come up to the tip of the rear of the trainer around the sides but not at the back where there is a little bit of rubbing from the gripper part on my trainers. If you’re Male then 3 socks would be handy in the winter but no it’s three pairs or six socks.
