I was still clinically obese when I bought my first pair size 3xl. I have lost a huge amount of weight since then and I'm still wearing the 3xl. That's the advantage of an elasticated waist. Having said that, I'm a 40" waist (down from 54"). Taking that into account perhaps 2xl would be more appropriate for you. My advice, buy at least one size up.

To be frank - I would look elsewhere --- not the best of qualities - you would be better going for quality rather than these cheap ones

Going on my experience I think that if I was your size I’d try XL. You can always send them back and get another size if they don’t fit.
