Is this waterproof and windproof and to what degree and how warm is it, is it suitable for wild camping in the colder climates

It is waterproof and to some degree wind proof. It can be attached to a USGI poncho which will add another layer of protection. I have used it as a sleeping bag liner with a bivvybag in the open elements as found it warm enough for the best the British climate can offer in all seasons down to -7. It is a must in my kit

Yes to both. The outer layer repels water very well. I would definitely use it for wild camping, it can augment a sleeping bag or can double up as a jacket. Best use for me is sitting round in the morning / evening as it covers your legs too. It combines very easily with the US style poncho. Very good bit of kit.

It is not waterproof but it's water resistant and wind proof I find it quite warm it would need a cover like a waterproof poncho or use with another sleeping bag
