Planning to use them for hiking some very steep slopes in the Alps, 5-6 hours a day. Would these be appropriate? Thank you

One caveat is that we haven’t been above the snow line in them so we can’t vouch for winter or higher altitude usage but would assume you would be looking at a different spec if you were intending usage over 3000metres.

Comfy boots, used them for walking the great glen way which is pretty steep at times.
I had problems with my feet getting too hot so l did get blisters, but l wouldn't put that down to the boot as they are breathable material .

hello, this shoe is not a mountaineering shoe, but rather hiking with a very good performance; for that it would be better to have a stiffer shoe.

Yes, these would be fine for hiking as long as you do not intend to use crampons.

They are very comfortable. I have worn them for long periods of time without any problem. I do have an inner sole to provide additional comfort. Hope this helps.
