Does your actual size still fit you at the end of the day of a long hike and with hiking socks? Or should you go a size up for that?

I went for a size up for this reason based on my previous merrell boots. My feet are much happier at the end of a long hike. So yes I would go for a size up

Yes. Size good for me. I am a size 4 or sometimes 4. 5 in shoe. I bought 4. 5 in these boots. They fit well all day hiking with hiking socks.

I always buy walking boots 1 1/2 size above my normal size to allow for swelling etc. I also wear thick hiking socks. Bought these in November in preparation for my 100K charity walk in June and I’m finding them very comfortable.

We found they come a bit on the small size. The great thing is they come in half sizes (uk) so my wife went up to the next size 5.5 and they have been perfect

It’s best to buy at least a half size larger than your normal shoe size. I bought a half size larger and that’s fine for me, but some people go up a whole size. Mine feel the same at the end of the day as they do at the start, but if you have the chance to try the boots in a shop, to find the most comfortable fit before buying online, then I’d advise doing that (as you don’t want them too big). Hope this helps.
