Depends what sort of doctor are you? The shoes aren't water proof, so if you work on wards you may end up with contaminated feet. On the other hand, my wife who is a physio in out-patients looks very smart and sporty in them. Hope this help.

Yes very good. I was working in a petrol garage when I bought these shoes but found that within a few weeks I was able to perform open heart surgery. Not many shoes will give you that confidence.

I don't think they would be very good with a scalpel or speaking to patients
