I wear them regularly walking mainly on pavements for quite long distsnces, they are very comfortable and cope well with occasional rougher terrain. However, the soles have shown signs of wear more quickly than I hoped (I am hard on my shoes!) They have not cracked across the ball of the foot as several other makes of sandal have done. They are definitely walking sandals, I am not sure about cross country trekking.

They are a good sandle. Good quality. I would use them for certain types of terrain but not sure about a more challenging trek

Very comfortable so yes as long as your not going through ground that could cut the parts of your feet that are not protected

Yes, but obviously there are parts of your feet that are not covered or protected.

Unfortunately my physical disability prevents me from giving a practical response to this enquiry. However I found these sandals to be completely suitable for normal use and made to Clarks normal high standard s. My only observation is that the lack of adjustment to the heel strap may be a problem where absolute perfect fit is required.

These are very comfortable for casual wear, however, I wouldn't trek in them as there is no ankle support.

I have had these for quite a while & done lots of walking on holiday with them on. In many cases the terrain has been rough & so would say yes.

Yes as long as you don't mind your feet are exposed
