Working a lot outside in all weather my feet have stayed dry. Admittedly I haven't tried them in a bucket of water.

Have never been out in major rainfall, as mainly use inside, but in light rain, definitely keep dry. Apart from that, comfiest, lightest steelies I've ever had. Sorry if not much help.
