Guy Pearce loans the film undeserved credibility

Blade Runner haunts every sci-fi film since. The neon lit, eternally dark cities of the future. The grim faced protagonist wandering the city hunting for whoever/whatever the plot requires them to. Pearce is the always macho ex-army, ex-police, detective trying to find Travis Fimmel's daughter. Fimmel is lost beneath an ageing makeup that makes Jupiter's Legacy look well applied. To compensate he has the full range of weird tics that scream "I'm not what I appear." We have the robot that's more human than all the humans in the zone and Pearce runs his full acting range from glower to grimace. Missable.

Guy Pearce is really good. It's a pity he doesn't make more sci Fi. This movie is good.

Very disappointing with no real story line and very wooden acting from Guy Pierce.

Found it very like Blade Runner decent enough film. It could of been doing with a bit more action but definitely worth a watch.

Set in the near future in a colony of state-of-the-art humanoid robots, when its creators daughter goes missing, he hires private investigator David to bring her home. David teams up with Jane a highly advanced and self-aware A.I, to track down the missing daughter.

This movie will be another underrated gem that slips past most people, a great little budget sci-fi that uses the money well with some simple lighting and great set pieces to add that sci-fi flavour, very Blade Runner in its story using some similar ideas but also making it its own at the same time. The story is simple but great fun, the casting is cool which helps, Guy Pearce (Lockout, Iron-Man 3) and Matilda Lutz (Revenge) some great characters and just overall a feel good sci-fi that's really worth checking out if you love these kind of movies.

The Blu-ray has a great HD picture.
