Great comedy romance movie with a good story.

I really enjoyed You've got mail. Its a great comedy romance movie with two main actors that pull it off. Their chemistry on screen is amazing. The story is quite interesting and things get more exiting as the movie goes on. I wont spoil the story but you need to watch it. Blu ray picture quality is great compared to dvd. Very clean with good sound as well. Blu Ray comes with Blu ray movie and a dvd of the original The Shop around the corner. Blu ray is region free and works in the UK but the dvd doesn't as it is region 1. Hope that helps.

Thanks Nora Ephron for another lovely movie. These movies never get old and I believe people will continue watching them in next generations as well. It is so refreshing to watch a sweet and lovely movie and not think of daily problems. May you rest in peace Nora! I also thank the cast and crew for delivering a good film.

Timeless and terrific, with a beautiful romance

An all-time favourite of mine. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan shine together playing different dynamics as two different couples - one who powerfully connect through email, and the other who are fierce rivals as they fight to maintain ownership of their bookstores.

The story is heart-warming and is located in the busy and attractive setting of New York.

Hanks and Ryan are magnificent together. It is rare to see two actors not only working together again, but also showing the ability to re-capture the same level of magic together. Tom and Meg's chemistry in this is just as natural and beautiful as it was in 'Sleepless in Seattle' - perhaps even more so in 'You've Got Mail', given that they share so much screen time together.

Greg Kinnear, Parker Posey and Steve Zahn also star in very funny and important supporting roles.

I would recommend the Blu-ray US Import. It has great special features, which include a three-way conversation between Nora Ephron, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan as they share memories of making the film and there is an extra disc that plays the original romantic comedy upon which 'You've Got Mail' is based, starring Jimmy Stewart - 'The Shop Around The Corner'.

….I wanted it to be you, I wanted it to be you so badly... And the song, 'Somewhere over the rainbow' playing in the background.... What an amazing scene and what an amazing feeling! I wonder why I have never watched this and why I was watching it because they don't make movies like this anymore!

An excellent old fashioned rom com focusing on the clash between a big business bookstore and an independent bookshop around the corner. Great chemistry between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan with echoes of “Sleepless in Seattle”.

Hate the formulaic concept of so called ‘Rom Coms’

But this one is the exception. Coz it’s beautifully and sensitively written, casted, directed and acted.
