Crude Trash that should never have been made.
Verified purchase
Debased, vulgar and very poorly written trash. The so-called humour is basically just and endless round of idiotic pre-pubescent jokes about anatomy and smoking drugs.

I am very surprised that Natalie Portman had anything to do with this film. I can imagine she must be extremely embarrassed about it.

Should never have been made and one to avoid.

Appallingly Bad ...not funny bad just utterly dreadful

I cannot fathom how this trash has the Amazon rating it has. Billed as hilariously funny it isnt even hilariously bad, despite having a fairly decent cast most of whom you've probably heard of. ( must have been a slow script year for some of these actors to have said yes to this project)
I assumed from the film blurb that it was going to be a modern re hash of the Princess Bride combined with a touch of a Knights Tale and a dash of Black Knight.
Instead it feels like a bunch of horny schoolboys wrote their fantasies down for a laugh and then were amazed when someone paid to have the script made into a film.
It's immature and crude without the redeeming feature of being remotely funny - it might be free to watch but seriously you'll laugh more watching reruns on Dave TV....dont do it!

Crude & Lewd but rather funny.

Your Highness is a tale of knights & a fair maiden.

The King has two sons, one a hero & one a waster.
After the hero princes bride to be is kidnapped by an evil magician mthe two brothers head off on a quest to find the Unicorn sword that is the only thing that will kill him.

Very funny but if you do not like bad language then avoid this.

Tad crude for my taste but the best silly movie since Robin Hood Men in Tights

The movie has been written for the 12 year old boy market with the constant needlessly crude humour. But looking past that it is a remarkably well made movie that is fun to watch with others, particularly those who have not seen it before. The acting is well above average and I loved the use of synthesisers in the musical score. If you what a silly movie and can look past the crude bits then this is a fun way to spend some time.

Actually insulting
Verified purchase
The English they are attempting to speak is insulting to us English. If you can't use an accent just speak American. Natalies accent was unbearable. There are no laugh out loud moments and the jokes are just childish toilet humour. In some places they appear to be ad-libbing and actually talk over each other. I gave it 2 stars because of Natalies arse.

If you like cringey and crass humour this might be for you

Essentially the kind of movie someone in their teens would write and someone younger would find funny.
Look comedy is subjective and I totally understand we all like different things but honestly, underwhelming performances, cringe inducing attempted shock humour comedy and Natalie Portman as a bad ass action star, none of these things a good film make.

Vulgar Cringy Slapstick

Just awful! I love period dramas and usually love big box office comedies... It just got worse and worse. I finally had to turn this off at the pedophile references and sexual favours scene with the old fish/slug wizard. Cringy and super weird. Sorry to see great actors mixed up in this gross production.

A truly terrible film, I sat through 45 minutes and really wished I hadn't

Listed as 'Action', 'Comedy' and 'Science Fiction' - but it really isn't any of those things. Genuinely unfunny, not that much actual 'action' and no idea where the 'science fiction' tag fits in at all. With a surprising amount of actually famous actors I expected a least a giggle here or there, but no. You know when you see old clips of crappy 'straight-to-DVD' films that now-famous actors were in before they were famous, and they're usually pretty cringe-worthy? Well, this is a version where a lot of now-famous actors have somehow been caught doing a really crappy film. I may not know much, but I know that all the actors involved in this film will look back on this garbage and quickly change the subject.
