I wore them twice. Once to a restaurant ( car to restaurent) then to the office. No snow, dirt or heavy active wear, yet they still ripped. I knew they just looked good and would only be good enough for the above. I just didn't expect them to only last two wearable times. Warning: if you have weak ankles there is no support. It's just a sock with a bit of carbord. You could injure yourself so be mindful of that.
