An essential for any beech holiday.

TIP: it's important to make sure you get the perfect size because if they are a little to big they will fall off when swimming in them.
TIP: you will still feel the pebbles in flexible beach shoes, they are just not as hard and sharp bits don't hurt your feet.
TIP: beach shoes are essential bits of kit, they prevent burning your feet in hot sand and swimming pool tiles.

I bought these shoes for our family camping trip to the Dorset coast. Whilst really beautiful its beaches are very pebbly, and I didn't want my daughters hurting her feet and complaining.

My eldest wanted unicorns like her little sister but her feet won't stop growing so she has moved into adult sizes at age 9. She was happy enough as she could still chose pink.

The shoes are great as they don't take much space in your luggage, yet the sole is sufficient enough to save your feet from the pebbles.

As we camped practically on the beech my daughters wore them all the time. She absolutely loved them so no complaints from her dad.

Great when dry but stretch in water. Good grip.

Really great product until it got wet. I wanted it for an in-water class. Once the shoes got wet, the fabric stretched a bit and they became too large. I am normally a European size 40 and I bought the size 40. They fitted fine until they got wet. They were nice and wide across the toes and fairly comfortable. If anyone has dropped arches, be aware that there is absolutely no support in these shoes and I actually found that they exacerbated the problem. That said, these are not designed to address this, so I have not taken any stars off for that.
In terms of grip, these shoes were very good both on the poolside and on the board in the water.
Quality-wise, the shoes seemed great. I have reordered a size smaller as I liked the shoe.
Without the stretching problem I would have given these 5 stars.
If I had wanted them for wearing without getting wet, they would have been fine.

Edit: I hot the shoes again in a smaller size. They too stretched when I got into the pool with them. So much so that I could really have done with another size smaller. I would still recommend these shoes for grip and comfort but would also recommend going at least a size or even 2 sizes smaller than your usual size if you plan to wear them in the water.

I was fed up buying the cheap alternatives which last a month or too before falling apart. These for like a pair of slippers, do not come off when wet and are great for walking over stoney surfaces too. I have walked miles on the beach with these, used them for paddle boarding and are a great alternative to crocks. Several friends have now bought them after seeing mine so I guess that’s a pretty good recommendation 😎

Shoes arrived much sooner than expected, haven’t had a chance to use them yet but the fit is good, the sole seems nice and thick and overall they are very comfortable. Very light uppers so do not buy if you are looking for a lot of support but should be very good for beach wear and clambering over rocks.

I hate flip flops! Ugly and uncomfortable. These are perfect, comfortable, like trainers, lightweight and I’m wearing them in water and walking around on holiday. Never again should we see people’s feet in flip flops, never again should people wear footwear never meant for beyond the pool side. Get these and keep your dignity.

Warning====the laces and shoe mould are incredibly weak, with a little tightening i ripped the plastic lace hole during my first trial. The shoes fall off easier if this happens AND the shoe is considerably large. I usually got size 45 but this size 45 was huge more like 47, choose a size smaller if you are nervous. Overall if the shoe didnt have these issues, it could of been a super shoe, it feels great, lightweight and breathable.
