It connects via a small wireless 2.4ghz USB dongle which you can store in the bottom of the mouse when not in use.
When the USB dongle is plugged in, it's literally plug and play for using the mouse. No other setup required.
The built in rgb light seems to work quite well as it cycles through all the colours available - these patterns can't be changed unfortunately.
The buttons on the mouse are not as clicky as I would normally like - they seem quite 'membraney' my partner thought they felt fine so this might just be a personal issue lol.
All in all, for the price of £11... This is definitely a rather decent mouse.
