Woody Allen's (lesser known) London gem!

Without giving anything away, I think it's safe to say Lucy Punch totally steals the show in this movie and I wish she'd gotten some sort of recognition. Meera Syal is also in this film for like 2 minutes and steals the scene from everyone! I really loved this movie. Woody Allen has made some tedious awful movies (Magic in the moonlight? Curse of the Jade Scorpion?) but this is emphatically NOT one of them. Somehow it manages to be funny and bleak at the same time with its lonely, confused characters all searching for love and fulfillment but finding neither. I also loved seeing all the beautiful shots of London as well. 5 stars for Woody.

i thought it was a hard look at relationships, maybe the grass is not greener over there and no prisoners taken.Woody allen does not go easy on anyone.

Loved the characters in this comedy. Could cheerfully watch again! Well up to Woody Allen's standards.
