Palace fans will love it, football fans enjoy it, Brighton fans ... probably not!
If you are a Palace Fan you will love this. If you are a football fan you will really enjoy it, if you are a Brighton fan.... well I’d watch something else!

This is so completely different to the Man City and Tottenham series. There isn’t a narrator, just interviews from multiple people over the last decade and behind the scenes of a match day. A really well edited series which must of had hours of content to flow smoothly, which has you eager to see more!

Broken into Five episodes which look at the background of the club, two episodes on the managers in charge of that season and the upheaval of that, the season run in including the play offs with the final episode is the dream of winning a play off final at Wembley.

Episode 4/5 are a must watch, especially if your club who has experienced with the play offs, these emotions will sit well with you.

I couldn’t stop watching and binged all 5 episodes back to back and could of easily watched another 5!

The Damien Delaney story was the cherry on top of the cake. He summarised a lot about life, how tough it can be and then running when when opportunity is presented, he comes across incredibly well a truly inspiring man.

I’d easily watch this again and it has me eager with excitement for covid to end and the return to a packed out stadium with incredible atmosphere.

Fantastic work by all involved in creating this, 5 stars.

Great in sight to a Club that survived the impossible
From the stand to the boardroom, this documentary gives a great perspective from the owners to the fans, management to the academy. It gives a clear perspective of what happened to Dougie as the manager and how he created a squad just good enough to win promotion under Ian's reign. This has the perfect blend of footage to help recall memories from the past as well as recent interviews to show the passion and belief to get Crystal Palace where we are today. From the neutral supporter to the avid Palace fan this hits home how any club can go from liquidation prospects to a Premier League team within 3 years with the right spirit believe and shrewd investment. Enjoy

Steve Parish ego-trip
A production served to massage the ego of Steve Parish. He wants the world to believe he is the saviour of Crystal Palace and is doing it out the kindness of his heart when in reality he has made a fortune out of a business he got for free. Don't be surprised when he starts asset-stripping, folks. This is one bad egg with skinny trousers and a bad undercut who needs to dress and act his age.

Highs and Lows
First of all I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Despite being a Palace fan since I was taken to Selhurst Park by a friend and his dad against Ipswich in 2009, the atmosphere was just amazing, and I was lucky to be in the Holmesdale stand.

Back to the show it's self. This series is really well paced. 5 episodes is enough to give you a good indepth understanding without dragging. The interviews were a great way to see what the whole thing meant to everyone involved and how a club owned by a group of fans can be responsibly run. It really is a story worthy of rivalling that of Leicester. 3 years between being minutes away from bankrupcy to getting promotion to the premier league. It is quite an emotional story, not one that will make you cry, but one that will ground a new found respect for those who didn't know this part of our history.

Looking at where Palace is now, you can see the lessons that were learnt and the vision that is still at the core of the club, and this series captures that very very well.

Great story with some great story tellers
The story is zero to hero, with all the heroes telling their story. The triumphs and the tragedy of the three amazing years.

Even if you hate football it is a story of the power of people, of teamwork, of belief, to make something happen.

The impossible is possible if you as a group really want to make it happen.
