Have usually bought Puma Smash or Adidas Campus style shoes to wear with a pair of jeans.
These Vans have a similar suede styling but are the most comfortable shoes I have owned straight out of the box.
If I was going to play five aside football or badminton then I would appreciate the narrow supportive fit of the campus/smash and they'd be comfortable enough to walk home in afterwards. I just want a shoe that I can relax and mess around in and these Vans are so comfortable I can wear them all day without aches.
The photos are of them next to a Puma Smash, both are size 10 you can see the difference in width and the lace position.
Wish I had started buying Vans years ago.

Whilst I liked these shoes and founf them comfortable to wear, after a couple of days, the fabric ontop of the insole started to separate from the insole. This caused rucking of the fabric, felt uncomfortable on the bottom of the foot and it was difficult to pull it off.
