Amazing and creepy like the series. The Stephen Spielberg “kick the can” one wasn’t that good though

Worth watching due to the final, brilliant Joe Dante and George Miller segments.

Do You Want To See Something Really Scary?

A bigot gets his comeuppance, elderly residents of a nursing home get young again, a boy with terrifying powers terrifies everybody and a nervous passenger on a plane sees a monster. Based on the classic 50's/60's scifi TV series, 3 of the 4 segments here are remakes of classic Twilight Zone TV episodes though the opening segment starring Vic Morrow as a bigot who ends up getting his comeuppance is original and made for the movie and feels like an episode of the classic TV series with Vic Morrow tragically dying on set with 2 child actors who were cut from the final film and the prologue starring Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks is also original and done for the movie. Directed by John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante and George Miller though the Steven Spielberg segment set in a retirement home is the weakest segment and the final segment starring John Lithgow as a nervous passenger on a plane who sees a monster is the best segment. A fun remake of the original TV series.

A Noble attempt at an American Classic TV Show

The four directors who put this together , did there best with what they had, the death of Vic Morrow and Renee Shinn Chen and Myca Dinh Le, quite rightly put this movie on a downer from the day it happened. As a standalone film, it a very good watch, with Dan Aykroyd and cast doing a Sterling job (pun intended).
