The hoods aren't faulty, there are hidden fastenings under the flaps next to the zip!

Great coat! I have 4 young boys and bought them a coat each, very warm, great sizing and at such an amazing price! To everyone that complains about the hood fastenings being the same on each side..... that's because they don't fasten to each Other! There are the correct fastenings under the flap next to the zip on each side. I highly recommend these coats

Poor customer service!

Had one of these before and it was great, still looked new after almost 2 years of wear. Bought the green one as my son had outgrown the old one, and he started to wear it at the end of October 2018. The zip was a bit stiff, seems to be small bit of green stitching on the bottom of the zip that meant you really had to pull hard. Didn't affect use though. Come January and all the stitiching umderneath the arm has come undone all along the sleeve. The wadding inside has all shifted after washing as per instructions and there are big lumps all over the back where it has balled up. I'm sure it must just be a defective coat that has been very badly sewn, as the other one of the same design was so good. Unfortunately have been messed about by this seller. First of all it was they would only send a replacement once they received the old coat back.... so expected us to either purchase another coat or let him walk around in winter without one! Then after many weeks of phone calls and Amazon getting involved they said we could have a refund and to send back the coat. Due to the state of the coat we have had to buy another now anyway so agreed to this. Was told we would be emailed the return label, only for them to then turn around and say they won't refund after all as it is past the refund date. Seems this seller thinks it is acceptable for a coat to be falling apart after 2 months of wear. Would never buy from them again!

Great warm comfortable waterproof coat

My husband loves this coat - this was actually our 2nd purchase of the exact same coat, originally purchased 2.5 years ago for a winter trip to Iceland. It was really tested there as the temperature was -14c at some points! But he remained snug warm and dry.
The reason he needed this replacement was because the bottom of the zip broke on the original. Fingers crossed same thing doesn't happen with this one as otherwise the first one was still in great condition still despite regular wear over 2 winters.

Not been tested in the elements yet so can only go off first impressions. Arrived well packaged and on time, colour and coat as expected. Certainly looks and feels good quality. It comes up large in size - bought age 5 - 6 for my 5 year old child (which is his usual size from most shops) but think age 4 - 5 would have been a better fit. I'm keeping it though because it will be great to layer up underneath, and as long as the quality is as it seems, it should see him through a full year of school. It's lightweight and I like how the hood size is adjustable. The only thing that I think would be an improvement, is the addition of reflective strip's.

Just Superb coats!

Bought 3 total now of the exact same style, with adjustable/removable hood, interior pocket, 3 zipped outter pockets and an adjustable hem.

Absolutely water and wind proof, and durable enough stitching to withstand the abuse of children's rough and tumble outdoor play. Warm and snug, but doesn't make your sweaty-- really amasing coats!

Washes easily and dries really fast-- great purchase-- again!

I purchased this needing a new warm coat for winter and didn't want to spend a fortune and saw this in my size for £28 in a sale. Too good to be true? Not at all, it's the best puffer I've had and a bargain that I've lived in this winter. I'll be sure to pick up another when I eventually need to replace it. It's ultra lightweight, warm and keeps the showers off you and it looks great. Though it is big, so I was glad to have read reviews beforehand recommending that you size down. I'm normally a medium in a coat but this small is perfect with room to layer up underneath! If your umming and ahing, go for it!! Its a gem for sure!

The coat is a little long, I am 5,9 and its the longest coat I own but to some who are taller it should be ok. I have not been in the pouring rain yet but why I only give it 3 stars is because this coat is not breathable. I wore it for about 45 mins just for a slow pleasant walk and when I took it off my arms and back was soaking wet, none of my other coats do this...It feels warm at 7 degrees but not been tested yet at extreme condition. To my surprise the main zip is small compare to the overall size of the coat. The front outside pockets are normal size but the interior one I would not trust anything in it, does not zip or fasten in any way and only small. I am a photographer and I am outside a long time shooting landscapes and this coat would make me feel very uncomfortable if worn for a long period of time.

I'm 6'3 and 16st with a 44"chest (suit size). I ordered the large but found it too big... It would be fine with a jumper underneath. I then ordered the medium which was much better.

I can't say how well it will perform as it's currently August (winter is coming!)... But wanted to add the above regarding sizing

The fit was perfect, I'm 6'1 and large size fitted perfectly, the length was spot on so in that respect I am pleased. I have had it around 5 months now, it is very warm however it has since lost to a degree its puffiness which is disappointing. The hood is rather lightweight, doesn't seem to be consistent with the rest of the coat's thickness as is the zip - could have been a bit more robust. It is easily wind and rain resistant enough to beep you warm on a wet wintry day so it does the job very well. Great coat for the price

Basically a heavy PVC jacket with isotherm lining. A little bit bulky, a little bit heavy and definitely some quality issues on finish - loose threads, cheap zips but this jacket does represent good value. It’s warm but remember not a quilted or down jacket. The position of the inside pocket is a bit random very high. This jacket although decent could be improved - some rings on sleeves for clipping on gloves and some big pockets for gloves and hat. A two way zip would be good and hand warmer pockets would be an excellent addition plus a secure inside pocket. One big plus the jacket doesn’t rustle. I’d pay more for an improved version. Have been walking out in rough weather - definitely wind proof and warm. So far keeps the rain out. Very big fit I’m xl ordered xl feels like xxl

Very impressed first impressions with this coat. We got two of them for the kids and for the money these are great. Got them for the incoming cold winter and these are nice and well padded coats that look like they will last a few winters but also they look really nice which is an important thing too. Just about the only thing I would say is keep in mind your childs size as they actually wear pretty big so you may actually need a size down for your kids but personally, I think this is great you actually have a coat they can grow into instead of the usual rubbish quality stuff now so well done to this brand. Will definitely buy again.
