Bought to replace years old gym kit bag. Three compartments, the largest taking two towels (one a bath sheet) and gym/swimming clothes; the middle takes trainers; the smallest takes shower kit/swimming goggles. Internal pockets for sundries (wallet, phone, etc); two external net pockets for drink bottles. Compression straps if needed.
Strong, substantial bag, certainly waterproof; could be a good daysack for hiking, walking, etc. Highly recommended

Great at the start. 4 months later and I am already buying a new one.

So bought this 4 months ago and was very happy to begin with. 4 months later and all 3 zips are broken in one way or another. They come apart on their own accord and only work in one direction (closing the other way simply doesn't work, a zip has fallen off, etc). To be fair, I have used this bag at times to hold a lot of content (e.g. grocery shopping, camping trips, etc) HOWEVER with the 20+ years I have been using rucksacks in this manner, I have never ever had a bag last less than 6 months like this one has. The product quality is crud, you will most likely be better off with something else.

If you’re looking for a decent rucksack but don’t have a lot to spend this is it. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. For the price (£11) I did not expect the quality to be this good. I walk to work everyday and it’s just perfect. I love how much stuff I can fit comfortably inside - It holds my laptop, which is fairly big and heavy, a change of shoes, my lunchbox and a few smaller items. I also love the fact that it has a key ring inside one of the compartments for easy access. The quality of the material is good, being strong and waterproof, and the bag is well made. The zips have been well used since I bought it and so far the stitching is still intact with no tears at the seams. I did read reviews regarding the cheap quality material used in the side pockets but have regularly used mine for my iPhone and umbrella, and also store my coffee cup in them. Again I’m constantly in and out of the pockets and they have not yet come part in any way. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this to carry light weight stuff to travel. It looks great, the quality is good and looks quite sturdy too (although I havent put a lot of weight in there yet). It is very comfortable to carry around (had it on me for a whole day of hiking). I have used it quite roughly and so far there is no damage. It looks sturdy enough to carry a laptop and its accessories (charger, headphones etc.)

Lots of space and pockets to store and organise things. I use mine every day for general use and it holds up nicely. The straps are quiet nice and do offer good support if adjusted right but do tend to slip off my shoulders every now and again. It can take a fair bit of weight, including two water bottles in each side holder.
I love the key chain holder as it has a clasp release from the bag so your keys stay on the ring and can be used easily and quickly and then re-attached. Easily machine washable and dried, but it doesnt get dirty often anyway due to its material. Top handle is comfortable though, but I dont use it anyway.

Hole in mesh pocket after three uses.

Just three trips with careful adult use and a big hole has appeared in one of the mesh pockets. Only regular 500ml water bottles have been put in the pockets. This is when I find out that Trespass will not offer warranty support for stuff sold by Amazon, and Amazon will only cover the product for six months and I bought it seven months ago! I guess this is the downside of buying from Amazon compared with traditional bricks and mortar stores that typically offer a one year warranty. Disappointed.

Great rucksack for the price

This was purchased as a school bag and so far has been great. Plenty of room for A4 books, lunch box, pencil cases, water bottle and other school paraphernalia. There are several pockets as well which are useful. I particularly like the key chain so I know my rather forgetful 12 yr old son always has his door keys (the key chain is a bit short so I've added an extension to it). Would recommend so far but not had it long enough to say how well it will last.

metal zip has worn out and snapped.

One of the middle compartment metal zips has worn out and snapped. It should last longer than one year!! At least I can still close the section and just use the other metal zip fastener over the whole section. But my danger is that I don’t close it all the way round and thereby potentially lose items.

Only had the bag a year. My other bags before have all lasted 5+ years.

I've only had this bag for a week but I am already very impressed by it. The padding works very well and you don't notice any digging into the shoulders at all. The two main compartments are very large and give me plently of extra room if I want to put anything else into it. My waterproof coat, lunchbox, hat and gloves and book fit easily in this bag and leave me with over half of the space. The material isn't that good quality (what would you expect), but it does have a waterproof lining in the inside of all pockets which seems promising. The side mesh pockets are very deep and the bungee cord on the front feels strong even though I have yet to use it. One minor problem is that in the middle compartments the small pockets are right at the bottom, which can be a problem if there is alot of stuff in the backpack. If they were further to the top this would be a perfect backpack.

The zip of the large front pocket failed very early on... after a few weeks of use. Second trespass bag that this happened to. The last for me. Moving to another brand but carried on using it, with a pocket that would randomly open, to get money's worth out of it. Did not even use it heavily, only light use really, commuting. Apart from zips, good bag. Side pockets for water bottles started to rip after a year or so...
