Poor sound No subtitles

I tried twice to watch this but the dialogue is sometimes unintelligible The first time I tried was using the TV speakers on a quality TV set but this didn't work for me so I retried using a Dolby surround sound system but this didn't solve the problem as it would have to be turned up too loud. Subtitles would have helped but Prime Video did not offer them so I reluctantly gave up on it. I have no problems with most other films.

Cheap Film but still good

The film does not have as many car chase scenes as the other films, but it dives into the life of the Transporter and as always Jason Statham is pure epic and gold in this film. The few action scenes are done simple but well, and in many ways unique.
Really if your looking for the next Fast & Furious this is NOT the film for you, but if you fancy something different and don't mind watching something a little cheap from Europe is the a very good film.

What am i missing here? I can understand a little distraction from time to time but who "green lights" this type of movie? It's just so bland and empty, the type of movie which makes you sad that you've lost 90 mins of your life. Saving grace is that i watched it via Amazon Prime, thankfully no money wasted.

What's not to like?! Close the curtains, get comfy and let this amazing action flick wash over you. Devoid of oppressive politics, minimal moral lecturing, and no guilt tripping using illogical plot lines. What a relief in this day n age!! Some of the action scenes may be a little too fast for some people's tastes but they certainly will keep you saying "WOAHHHHH!!" hahahaa. Great buzz

The real sin of this film is that it's just boring. I expected it to be dumb, and I was happy with that, but I wasn't expecting it to be so boring. I normally enjoy Statham films, but not this one. Speeding up the film in some otherwise by-the-numbers shots doesn't make anything exciting. Avoid.

The final Jason Statham offering in the series
Verified purchase
Transporter 3 sees Jason Statham back in action as Frank Martin as he takes on a new job where he transports special cargo's for a living. The film has a great story and the action scenes are really well done but for me things that stand out all involve Jason Statham whether it be the authority he brings to the role or the amazing driving scenes he takes on (Statham is actually a professional driver in real life).

This film was the final Transporter film with Statham in and he delivered another great performance which makes me worry how the series will continue without him.

Jason Statham returns in his signature role as the indestructible transporter.

His 'mission' this time to drive a girl through Europe, in a bid to assist her kidknappers against his will, who wish to blackmail her goverment father.

The said kidknappers have made it difficult for him to escape this task, as he rigged to a bomb in the shape of a wrist bracelet that will detonate if he moves too far from his car.

He fights them, drives very fast, and gets up to the usual cartoon like action scenes with the typical Statham scowl and one liner.

Others may argue that the film is a little distant from the previous two, but it has it's merits.

The fights are shorter granted, the car chases slightly (only very slightly) more real (very, very well done by the stunt team, and less cheesey CGI than part 2), the film is very polished, it looks great, the music is excellent, and there is a sense of larger scale about the whole thing.

Whilst not original in story, the makers do attempt a good, fast paced if far fetched plot, that features a good villain, and as usual Statham shows why he's such a great action lead.

All in all, some of the same of the previous two, but slight tweeks to the format, some great, some not so great, but still a fun, silly and glossy action film to pass the time.

Standard Statham

More high octave often impossible seeming shirtless super action from the Transporter. Obviously it follows suit from Crank etc and the first two movies in its delivery and style and if you're watching number 3 and have seen the first 2 then you pretty much know what to expect. It does indeed have all the usual slick car chases, cool soundtrack and awesome but often ridiculous fight scenes, but more of a story is developed around the action in this third film and the fight scenes have a harder, grittier edge to them which again makes the film seem less cartoonist/silly/GTA and more like an actual film that happens to have lots of shirtless Statham being effortlessly agro and bad-ass.
