Timbo's on the toes & That's the way it goes!

Timberland have always been the front runner in footwear (see what I did there?) These are no exception. Fit like you had gloves on your feet. Comfort and warm toes all in the same place. Even in the snow (Tested' and they passed) Waterproof and deceivingly light in weight! About as heavy as Nike Airs' True Story' Smart as' If they're to be used for night's down the pub, in your chinos or combats! I got them for the English weather and dog walking... I love them! A wipe and they are clean (Not that I go around jumping in puddles like a loop case) Just the splashes and such that I have had on them, came straight off with a wipe 'Juan Sheet' They are a 'Proper Tidy Bit of Kit' Don't take my word for it, I'm off me swede mate lol Looking good in my boots though!

I read electric meters and walk an average of six and a half hours per day (some of my routes consist of mostly driving from house to house, but I still have to get out of my truck and walk to the meter; other routes are entirely walking). I have wide feet and high arches. I needs comfortable boots that are waterproof and provide ankle support. I had previously purchased a more expensive version of the Timberland boots, and they hold up relatively well. The attached photos are what the boots look like after just under six months of use. I tried to take the cheap way out. Not only did these boots not hold up, they also consistently rubbed the tops of my toes raw (the more expensive Timberlands never did this). Six months later I'm buying another expensive pair of boots. Unfortunately, while the Timberland boots only last for me for about six to nine months (six months for the cheapies, nine months for the more expensive ones), they're the only ones that are tolerably comfortable for my feet with the amount of walking that I do.

It seems like every time I find a great boot that I like and want to buy again, they discontinue it. I have an old pair of Merrells that I love but they stopped making years ago; I have several other pairs of boots that I wear depending on the conditions I'm expecting. I was excited about this Timberlands because they have excellent reviews and seem like they've been made for awhile and will continue to be offered.

These fit well and are comfortable. They look good. The sole is moderately flexible and moderately grippy. I find some boots are better for bolder hopping because they are harder and protect my feet; some are better because they are softer and mold around things better. These are in the middle for me.

Biggest disappointment is that the sole is falling away from the upper after not many miles. Also, these are so *not* water proof. Just shuffling through some damp grass causes moisture to go through the leather. I've sprayed these several times but it doesn't seem to help.

So my favored conditions for these boots? Warm weather, dry hikes on moderate terrain -- some rocks (not boulders), some trees / roots, some mud -- all okay -- but not boulder hopping or water crossings. I'll probably buy these again because they're cheap and they are comfortable for my difficult-to-fit feet but I not thrilled with how they perform or last.

I might have to just try it out when I go to work and see what happens but to be honest when I did try the shoe on when walking around my house inside of the house at first putting it on it would feel like it’s comfortable but then afterwords when you’re walking around it doesn’t quite feel like that way so it’s hard to say because I really have to test it out tomorrow to get a good answer about it I am a nine with if anything I do wear a size 9w so if anything I have to get a 10w Maybe that might work a little bit more better for me but umm yeah That’s how I feel so far but I will try to update this if anything by tomorrow so I get a definite answer about it

Update 5/15/2021 so from wearing the boot for today when I was at work and I’m still currently at work now the boots is pretty comfortable I don’t feel any discomfort now I think the thing is is that you just have to just try it on see how it feels and see if it’s comfortable I don’t notice like any pain or anything it is extremely comfortable I just hope that these boots is going to be reasonable as towards for me keeping this for a long period of a time for when next time it’s going to be snowing that’s the only concern that I have about these boots I just hope at that time these are actually going to be reasonable at that time
