Timbo's on the toes & That's the way it goes!

Timberland have always been the front runner in footwear (see what I did there?) These are no exception. Fit like you had gloves on your feet. Comfort and warm toes all in the same place. Even in the snow (Tested' and they passed) Waterproof and deceivingly light in weight! About as heavy as Nike Airs' True Story' Smart as' If they're to be used for night's down the pub, in your chinos or combats! I got them for the English weather and dog walking... I love them! A wipe and they are clean (Not that I go around jumping in puddles like a loop case) Just the splashes and such that I have had on them, came straight off with a wipe 'Juan Sheet' They are a 'Proper Tidy Bit of Kit' Don't take my word for it, I'm off me swede mate lol Looking good in my boots though!

I am a field biologist and wildlife photographer so I am fussy about my hiking boots. I was headed to dusty mountains trails and I am so tired of the poor quality of light weight summer boots for women. Usually they are cloth and look like a tennis shoe. They offer no snake bite protection and absorb dust like a sponge. I was pleasantly surprised by these boots. Although they arrived late I took them along without breaking them in and got lucky because for me there was no break-in period. I put these on and my old reliable boots in my backpack just in case. I was able to do a 6 mile hike on the firsts day with not a problem. Also, unlike some reviewers, I did not experience wet feet when I waded through streams and wet meadows. My experience with waterproof boots has not been great because of the poor quality control at factories where the boots are made. Usually the lining is a GoreTex or some other kind of sock that surrounds the foot. If the sock seams are not sealed the boots leak and that happens if the boots are $100 or $300. This is largely because at the American company that specs them does not do a decent job a quality control. For example, I went through 2 pairs of $300 boots when first the left then and right foot got wet. SO IF THRE BOOTS SAY THEY ARE WATERPROOF TEST THEM AS SOON AS YOU GET THEM and if they fail, return them for a new pair. It is amazing to read how many folks do not test their gear and assume it will work or expect a pair of inexpensive $100 boots to do the work of a $200 pair!

Comfrotable, light, and nice looking

First: size. Fits as expected but runs small for a timberland. I have 9.5s of the basic 6" boot with leather collar and they are a tad too large. These at size 9 fit almost too snug (my big toe just sometimes touches the front, it's acceptable but just know this shoe model doesn't run as large as other timberlands.) So this shoe fits as expected, and the 6" basic runs a tad too large.

Second: Comfort. Hot darn, this feels like a sneaker. I've worn boots for years for work and got used to it. I wear boots all the time because I like the versatility. But these are very light and comfortable. I laced up and my foot felt nice inside. I tightened the laces and it still felt comfortable.

The shoe looks great and doesn't feel cheap. The sole is a bit soft which is good for grip but may wear often.

I wear the same shoe every day until they break. My 6" recently got splattered so I got these to replace them. I don't think these are as durable but I would definitely buy again. I paid $60 during a sale, well worth that price.

most of my boots have been work boots, however i do like to wear my fashion jeans from time to time with a pair of western boots, but althought i like cowboy boots i needed something that was a little more comfortable with style, after looking on amazon I came across these tims, great looking boot, so i purchased them, right out the box they felt great, comfortable, look goob with my jeans I highly recommend getting a pair, they diffrent colors as well, only negative set back is the padding would be great if they woul put memory foam on the inside, however a great memomery foam can run you around 20-30 bucks and your set, waterproof spary them when its snowing would help also, i give these timberlands 5 star rating best set of boots i purchased in a long time.

Bought these for my dad, I have another pair that I use for everything. Have used them for work, hunting, and hiking. They are very comfortable and very good all season long (haven’t tried them in snow). I’ve had them in the cold and they have kept me warm, have used them in the summer and they don’t get hot. Have used them to walk a good amount of miles daily. For the price you pay, this boots are great, they are comfortable, waterproof, and breathe-able.

BUY A HALF SIZE LARGER! This is my second pair of Timberlands and I had to return both they fit exactly the same. Despite the reviews saying 86% proper fit. It definately wasnt for me. I liked the look of these however they are well made and the people that said they eyelet fell out. I cannot see how. That is a nice metal grommit into REALLY well made leather. Also.. these SURE look waterproof too untill you go over your ankle?

Great shoes but they are out of 9.5s

Oh and like the last review. I probably have 30 pairs of shoes/boots/hiking boots in the closet.. Everything except for a pair of old Teva hiking boots (size 10) are a size 9. EVERYTHING. Ive been buying that size for 20 years now.

Good boots which don't get your feet sweaty

Very good shoes. What is really good is that my feet do not get sweaty when I wear them. I have couple of other boots and shoes which are lighter then these shoes but my feet get sweaty.

The only reason I gave it 4 star as opposed to 5 because they are bit narrow, so I need to do some breaking in before they become very comfortable.
I have not tried them in rain or snow to know how they'll hold up.

Update: After couple of weeks of wearing they are now a good fit and don't cramp my feet. I got them in light brown color so small drop of ketchup makes a mark on them. I should buy some leather protector spray for them.

Update after a year: These are most comfortable shoes I own. I don't go in muddy and snowy areas much but with everyday wear they still look as good as new.
