Timbo's on the toes & That's the way it goes!

Timberland have always been the front runner in footwear (see what I did there?) These are no exception. Fit like you had gloves on your feet. Comfort and warm toes all in the same place. Even in the snow (Tested' and they passed) Waterproof and deceivingly light in weight! About as heavy as Nike Airs' True Story' Smart as' If they're to be used for night's down the pub, in your chinos or combats! I got them for the English weather and dog walking... I love them! A wipe and they are clean (Not that I go around jumping in puddles like a loop case) Just the splashes and such that I have had on them, came straight off with a wipe 'Juan Sheet' They are a 'Proper Tidy Bit of Kit' Don't take my word for it, I'm off me swede mate lol Looking good in my boots though!

Hardly waterproof

Nice looking comfortable boots but leak badly. Hardly waterproof, you'll get wet feet even in heavy dew or walking through grass after rain. Very poor. Adding dubbing etc to the leather makes little difference. On this basis I wouldn't buy Timberland walking boots again. Fine for casual wear in dry weather but then what isn't?

Da ich eigentlich Schuhe der Größe 47 bis 47 1/2 trage war die erste Bestellung zu klein, denn hier brauchte ich dann die Größe 49.
Es ist mittlerweile das dritte Paar das ich mir gekauft habe. Ich benutze ihn eigentlich täglich bei meinen Spaziergängen mit den Hund.
Er wird bei jedem Wetter getragen und die Aigle stehen nun schon fast sieben Jahre im Keller.
Klasse Schuh und wenn er relativ günstig zu haben ist kann ich ihn nur empfehlen.
Würde auch sechs Sterne vergeben wenn’s möglich wäre.

I have purchased at least 6 pair of these over the last 10 years. I swap them out as needed when in they get wet to allow them to dry. Obviously I loved them when I first purchased them, but the last 2 pairs have dropped in quality significantly. They have been far less comfortable, which is a bit subjective. I have even replaced the in soles with some Timberland Pro ones that I love in my other boots,, but there isn't as much support in the footbed. The "leather" has worn really badly with a lot less wear than the previous pairs. I wore out the soles on the first 3 pairs but the leather was cracking a little but still serviceable. The newer ones only get worn on dry days because the water resistance of the older ones have been replaced by dew on grass getting your feet wet. (HARDLY WATERPROOF AS THE TAG ON THE SIDE SAYS) I rated 2 stars because they are better than the cheapest hikers you can buy at a big box store. They used to be a great buy, but unfortunately no longer, they are $50 boots now for $80 . You can see in the pictures that the soles look near new but the leather is very worn and the toe is starting to separate. These new ones are made in Cambodia. The next to last pair was made in Vietnam and had slightly better leather wear. I have replaced them with a pair of Irish Setter hikers and Timberland Pros that are really comfortable and tough, but much heavier which is a bummer.

The price is pretty good and they are very comfortable. The constant problem with how they are made (at least the ones that I see made in China?) are with the front toe area. That area commonly opens. Dirt gets in. Looks bad. Soon, it breaks down the “waterproof”? ability. I have used a large amount of boot glue which helps for a few more months but the waterproof ability is gone. Maybe the company should raise the angle just a little higher at the toe, use a better glue!?, and a few actual stitches at that area? Maybe cost the company a few more pennies per shoe? I suppose something like that would improve their reputation? Better reputation, more happy customers, more money for the company?🧐

They are comfortable boots. Lasts about a year, maybe a year and a half. Maybe less if warn daily outdoors, at work. Just purchase a large tube of boot glue at the same time you buy the boots. That way you can clean out the grit/dirt and attach the glue on the same day before the toe area opens too far.

I have been wearing Timberline White ledge boots for the last 22 years. I get about 2 years worth of use from them. The soles wear out, but the uppers are in reasonable shape. They are lighter than comparable boots, maybe because they don't have a steel toe box, so I would not wear them on the job. For a light weight waterproof hiking boot they can't be beat.

I bought these specifically for off-roading and hiking. The first day I wore them, it had rained somewhat recently and there was mud everywhere. We reached a sort-of washed out part of a trail and had to hike through a marshy creek bed, and at one point my foot sunk into mud up to my ankle. When I got home and took these off, there was absolutely no sign of mud or creek water in them. A++ on waterproofing. They're also comfortable. Even though I hadn't taken any time to break them in, I was able to wear these for several hours without discomfort or blisters. My only complaint is these are a little on the heavy side, but I also don't wear boots very often, so maybe that's just me.
