So I’m really disappointed to see this size-meddling with an iconic and much-loved product.
Why would they do this? Are they being manufactured for a different demographic? Supplied by a different manufacturer?
Beware next time you order a pair of these. May not fit the same as they have done for decades. I bought a 9 Wide (UK) by the way.
I have been very happy wth Timberlands in the past but these are not quite as good. The finish is not as good as they used to be somehow but they are quite passable and its difficult to say why they don't seem qite right.
I have English made moccsin-type shoes (Chatham) which are much better quality (and half the price) but they do not make the treaded soles I reqire at present.
