Acting is Terrible

I love watching apocalyptic films mostly to see the special effects and a good story line, this film has a decent story line but it is spoilt by bad acting and it is also trying to be a comedy film too but its not hitting my level of funny to even remotely make me laugh. I did give it thirty minutes to see how the disaster for the world to end came about but I was nearly screaming with cringed face by the time I did stop it, I cpuld not stand it any longer - I don't really want to rate any stars for the film but I will give it one star for when the film was starting with the music and credits before the acting started Lol
Over all view - my grapes went sour more quicker when I started to watch it and I wasted my time

Is it the end though!!

If you like the idea of the usual suspects that hang out together in all the movies they do together then this is for you!!! Seth Rogan, Franco, Jonah Hill and all the rest..... Now you may have got the idea I don't like this movie. No I am not a fan of the above actors together but alone they are usually decent. But this movie breaks all the rules and is hilarious. This is the end features a star studded cast playing themselves as they all try to survive the apocalypse...

Brilliant!

This isn't usually my genre of film but a Friend recommended it knowing I'm a bit of a fan of James Franco. I'm glad I took her recommendation and watched it becuase it is one of the best films I've seen in a while. Brilliant cast who really seem to bounce off each other and even though there is a lot of violence and gore it is also hilarious and by the end my mind had been blown, in a good way. Amazing film which I highly recommend.

Worth A watch- all star cast.

The actors self indulge in this comedy- but that's not to say it isn't good! Its actually very funny, some school boy humour thrown in with an all star cast.
Basic storyline good versus evil with some off the rails events- Channing tatum is all I'll say here!!!
Worth A watch. Good for price. Wouldn't pay more than £5 as its not a number one style film.

awful

This is truly bad. The women in this film are there for one purpose and when that is irrelevant they are all killed off. 5 men behaving like children does not make for a funny film. I smiled once then gave up on this puerile teenage fantasy . I don't know how any self respecting actor can associate themselves with this nonsense.

20 minutes wasted and not even curious for the rest

The first twenty minutes of this movie is that bad that even if the remaining minutes where the best in movie comedy history i wouldn't entertain it anyway. Even the actors who have been in some great comedy movies look embarrassed to be there.

The End...

... didn't come soon enough. This is a terrible, half baked, poorly scripted piece of self gratification that trades on names and nothing more. Not often you're left hoping for all of the characters to end up dead. Craig Robinson shows how to haul a poor script up by its braces but even with his efforts this just doesn't make it. I'd rank this below Source Code, which is all you need to know.

having read an intro i wasn't expecting much, but with SR and JH in it, then i thought it worth a watch and i wasn't disappointed.

it probably took me a while to get into it, but once the real action started then it kept me interested and amused until the end.

a little predictable at times, with plenty of the supernatural, but i can't complain about realism in a comedy movie.
