Great characterisation! Great casting!

I was wonderfully surprised by this movie. (Unusual)The characterisation was meticulous. I particularly liked the character of Alec Baldwin, and Robert Miano Riles. The writer made sure we understood the Baldwin character was a music aficionado of a certain type of jazz. I also enjoyed the sensitivity in terms of his pet dog’ Wally’,
I loved the contrast of music used in this movie. This movie was about more than stealing and murder, it was about relationships and code of conduct, showing us a through line from illegal to legal; and what a great cast! All these actors are in their prime at this time. I’ve got a feeling they wanted to do this movie because of the script. A hell of a lot of information in 1 hour 35 minutes.

Not made in 2021

Why are a lot of OLD movies appearing as if they have just been made in 2021. It is misleading and a waste of time to suddenly realise you are watching an old film! If a movie has been made in 1940, 50, 60, 80 or any other year then that is the year that should be next to the film when it is advertised NOT 2021.

An Ok light hearted crime caper

It's a decently acted film however the mafioso bosses weren't so convincing probably because it's not a serious look into that genre. The thick criminals acted their part really well as did Pointy. The dog was pretty pointless. It's something you'd watch if you had nothing better to do.

This film is not going to appeal to everybody, it could be considered a bit slow, but if you follow the story close its speeding along, the music is superb, its put with the film is an unusual way and it pays off, I loved the players, wanted to see how this finished and sat riveted till it unfolded, I was intrigued by all the emotions shown by the different players, it made them seem more humane, its all in there, just watch it

Best seen as a good representation of racial tension within a crime community. The details provide the necessary tension and relief.
