Stan Edgar began his career as an associate for “Vought American” in 1984. Calm, collected, yet ruthless, he rose to become chief Executive for the modern day Vought International. As pretty much the only person who’s not afraid of Homelander, Edgar is the cool-headed puppet-master with a shadowy past; he pulls the strings that move Vought forward—no matter the cost.
Ashley Barrett
Ashley’s had a tough job over the past year. She’s still working as the Vice President of Hero Management at Vought, but her primary responsibility is Homelander. And since the news about Stormfront came out a year ago, and Homelander’s approval ratings took a dive because of it, Ashley’s not only had to manage his volatile publicity, she’s also had to tiptoe around his nuclear temper.

The Boys Are Back in TownSession 3 starts with a recap that reminds us exactly how many exploding meat sacks there were in season 2, and a meta reading via a cinematic reimagining of last season’s big climax with Stormfront. Then we’re off to the races with a new Super with an introductory scene that may be a new high (or low) in the series’ sexual depravity scenarios. Some things have started the same: Hughie’s love of Billy Joel, Homelander’s simmering insane rage, and Butcher’s unique mentoring approach. But while the series long ago moved well away from its source material storylines, season 3 does introduce a key element from the comics -a certain drug which can change everything. If you’re prepared to accept it as a completely different entity from the source other than the core concept, it’s a strong start for the new season and the good news for those who just can’t wait, Amazon are releasing the first three episodes in one go.

Struggling to recapture season 1 highsGreat moments and then too much dull exposition. The show was better when it was about a core 4-5 characters and mostly about humans taking down supes. Some annoying sjw politics has started to creep in as well.

Refreshing change from the standard superhero clichés.If superheroes were real, this is what we'd get. A fantastic adaptation of Garth Ennis's work. Violent, depraved and hilarious. If I wasn't already on Amazon Prime this would be the best reason to sign up.
