How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

These balls are just terrible. The rubber stitching is all over the place. Sometimes way too thick, sometimes cracking, sometimes on the felt. I cannot understand how HEAD can get away with this quality control. Every set of 4 has at least 2 defective balls.

These tennis balls are good for the price but in my experience they do tend to go flat quicker than other balls that I have used (e.g. Wilson, Slazenger and Dunlop). I got about 2 hours play out of them before they start to noticeably wear.
I would say they are fine as a match ball but if you are looking for a durable practice ball then maybe try something else.

I didn't buy these to play tennis with, so cannot review them for that. They were purchased purely for my dog. After getting a dodgy batch of my usual balls for my dog, I trawled through many reviews for different brands. These seemed to be recommended for dogs. Wish I had saved my money. The pack of 12 will literally last for 12 occasions where I give him a ball to play with. We are averaging up to 10 minutes for each ball. They may be ok for little dogs, but not for my GSD cross. If anyone can recommend any long lasting balls I would love to know. I have given 3 stars purely because they are tennis balls. If they were dog balls I would give them zero stars.

Pros:
• Great value for money
• High durability (if using to play tennis with)
Cons:
• They are too flat for my liking, i.e. they do not bounce high enough
Review Content:
I purchased these tennis balls to play tennis with and was left with mixed emotions about them.
Durability:
I have used these tennis balls in several recreational tennis matches and also to practice my serve and they are not showing any noticeable signs of wear and tear, despite the fact that they have consistently been hit with a great deal of force.
Longevity:
Although the tennis balls are definitely durable, I find them to be much flatter than other tennis balls I have used in the past. I was expecting them to at least have some bounce fresh out of the tin (especially considering I was using them on a hard court), but this was not the case. Then, after using them for a few hours, they became even flatter (which I did not think was possible).
Value for money:
In terms of value for money, I don’t think you can complain - it works out at approximately 90p per ball (£10.99/12).
Review Conclusion:
Overall, I think if you are looking for tennis balls to practice your serve or if you do not mind playing with tennis balls that are on the flatter side, then I would recommend the purchase. However, if you prefer tennis balls with a bit of bounce, then I would perhaps suggest looking at alternatives.

AMAZING! I bought these for my dog to play with as she’s large and breaks dog tennis balls with one bite. These balls have a great bounce and fit perfectly in my ball thrower. There a good size so she’ll bring them back and she can chew away and they done break in half. Whether your looking as a tennis player or a dog owner there great as there tough and bounce well.

During my teens, I held onto 1 Slazenger tennis ball I had left just in case I happen to get a dog later in life (I'm in my mid 20's now!). I've adopted a dog for 3 months now and that ball is still whole but is looking a bit worse for wear, so I was looking for a set that was at a reasonable price and wouldn't fall apart instantly.
I found the packaging very strange for these balls - once you take off the black cap, it has a pull tab that basically pops like when you open a can of coke! Once you pull back the cover, you have 4 balls in each tube. These Head Radical balls are decent (not sure what they'd be like for actual tennis) and as soon as I got them out my dog wanted to know all about it. I will say that the white lining is something to be desired, but I'm using them for my dog's enjoyment - as for tennis balls, I'd expect them to be a bit better quality.
I got this 12 pack for £10.99 which makes one ball cost roughly 92p each which isn't too bad a value. Don't expect them to look the best quality, but for dogs who enjoy playing fetch, these will do just fine.

Amazing value, top class tennis balls. People who REALLY play a lot of tennis might have a different opinion, but I'm an ex club singles champion and these are good enough for me. No embarrassment turning up with Head tennis balls, they're a recognised make and these are not some sort of budget option. Brilliant value at under £13 for twelve.

I have bought those balls several times as i play tennis on regular basis.
When Amazon decides to drop the price to £9 i buy them.
They are not Babolat Team balls. But they last for a bit. The Team are more expensive by far on Amazon. Can't understand why Amazon sells them so expensively.
Pity. They would sell a lot more of the Team. So when I run out of them until my friends buy some Team in bulk at a similar price of the Radical, i but those.
