Good quality shorts

Bought these for running after a search on amazon showed these as results. Took a chance as I’d never heard of TCA and don’t normally buy without trying on in a shop first.
Really pleased with the shorts - comfortable, good quality and they had the back pocket which fitted and held my iPhone 6 securely. This was what I wanted as can’t stand the phone bouncing around in a pocket when running.
Only downside is that they chafe in the groin as there’s no lining!! So, not good for those long runs but still happy with them.

Used for two weeks, then binned them

Purchased these to use for regular running.

I’m a 34” waist and got the L size Now I’m wishing I’d got M because every time I go running with my phone in the rear zip pocket the shorts start falling down, and as a result I usually end up running with my phone in my hand instead making the rear pocket useless. The waistband strings don’t go tight enough, but I think I’ve I’d got the next size down this wouldn’t have been an issue.

The TCA logo fell off as soon as I opened the shorts which had me questioning the quality immediately. The material of the shorts feels very cheap in comparison to other similar shorts I own.

Two weeks later:
I’ve resorted to purchasing a different pair from another seller on Amazon to compare them to as I’ve felt pretty disappointed with this purchase.

OK, but order a size bigger

These are good for what they are, I brought a pair of TCA running track pants in medium that fit well, but these are a size smaller almost than they state. Should have brought a size L, recommend anyone to order a size larger than they think they need. Back pocket big enough to hold a key, but not much else (luckily that's all I take running with me). Inner shorts are tight, you don't need to wear anything else.

The shorts are a great fit and the under layer isn't too tight or uncomfortable, but will be snug enough to keep warm during the colder months. The materials used are very comfortable and lightweight, and the added zip pocket in the back is perfect for listening to music whilst running. Would definitely recommend!

Quality, but small sizing

Good quality, but v small sizing. I’m not a small chap and get XL boxer shorts. I ordered XXL in these shorts and they’re far too small. Waiting to lose weight to get in them, since they’re for sport and I can’t wear them it could be a while!!!!!

Shorts had a swimming short material feel to them, wouldn't have been great for running. Returning as item doesn't fit correctly, waist seems to be ok, but if you have bigger thighs avoid 'correct/normal' size or buy one size up.
Also it is not a free return! Was for a promotion September to October 2020, false advertising there.

Excellent product, good fit and looks quality. Regarding fit my waist in 30inches so the medium fits me well, but If your waist is 32inches I would opt for a large. Otherwise great value for money compared to some of the branded alternatives.

The shorts are excellent quality well made and very comfortable to wear. The outer shorts are light and the zipped pocket at the rear is secure and the zip does not snag.
The size I bought were large and ideal for me.
The only slight negative was the compression inner could have provided more compression and be tighter but thats only a minor point.

The shorts themselves are excellent - high-quality work, nice aesthetic. They are also very functional - warm but also breathable which makes sure you don't overheat.
My only grievance is that the pocket on the back for the phone is a little on the small side; this is important to make sure nothing bounces around, but my rather bulky iPhone case means that I have trouble getting it in. So long as you have a small case or don't mind taking it off, the product as a whole is fine.
