Lack of sleeve pocket for ski pass card (top pocket, though, worked sort of well when I leaned forward a bit to be in range of the reader).
Right pocket zip got stuck. Managed to pull it open but recommend testing which zip opens easily when fully closed and which not. Only had problem with the one. Maybe slightly better zip choice would help, even if it meant the jacket was few pounds more expensive.
For the money it is perfect. Would give 4.5 stars if I could but settled on 5 stars due to value.
Overall, quick delivery, good packaging (no crease), this is very important as I have ordered one jacket from another supplier on Amazon, but the jacket looks very wrinkled. May be, this jacket should price a bit less than this one (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H96NX8D/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
Both jackets have a small size hood. This message should be relayed to supplier to rectify the issue.
Stitching and fabric are good, zips work well, nothing to complain about.... except that there is no loop to hang it up.
So a bit of para cord and some sewing is needed to make it perfect. No big deal.
I walk my dogs every day for a couple of miles at 7-8am on the top of a raised walkway between two dykes in the flat fenlands. It's VERY exposed to the weather. When I leave my house in the village I feel the temperature and remind myself that on the dyke it will always feel 2-5 degrees colder and much more windy!
I like the size of the hood. I usually wear a woolen beanie hat and can pull the hood over this to give extra warmth and protection. The lugs and velcro tabs which wrap around your throat/chin are easy to do up, and I love the soft inner furry/fleece lining. The hood surrounds my face nicely, not too far out as to restrict my side to side vision, but enough to provide some protection, and there are pull cords to tighten the hood if necessary.
I think the size of the inside coat pocket and the breast pocket are a little mean, the openings are a tad small making it difficult to insert/remove items quickly (wallet/phone), and the inner pocket in particular could do with being a little bit wider/deeper. The main hand pockets are a decent size for storing my gloves, hat and hands!
I like the style and trim of the jacket, quite smart. I've been caught in quite a few rain showers and snow storms. I like the main quilted furry/fleecy inner lining, its got a really decent thickness to it and overall I've always felt warm, dry and cozy. The sleeves are silky inner lined which makes putting your arms in easier. I've not had any problems with zips sticking or breaking.
All in all I'm really pleased with its windproofness and warmth when I really batten down the hatches. Now that spring is here I'm going to miss wearing it so much because it gets quite hot in milder weather after a brisk walk, unless I really open it up.
Would be a five star if the pockets are improved slightly.
Firstly it is very waterproof and warm no complaints. Secondly sizing wise I wear a 34/36 waist and an around 5’11 and 3/4” (Every little counts) and a UK large fits well with a thick hoodie underneath.
I’m not saying you could survive Everest in this thing but for banging around or commuting in the rain it’s perfect and at a cost that if it doesn’t last the year so be it.
