Quite a good movie with great acting - Keanu never fails

Good action cinema with a few interesting twists and turns in the plot. One can never know who the real friend and enemy is. Keanu delivers a great performance, as per usual.

Very well paced, great acting, good actors, well made, with a fairly realistic plot - not much to complain about and a lot to rave about. Maybe not the blockbuster of the decade, but a really good movie.

A flawed but decent thriller

It's not bad, a pretty decent police thriller. You can see James Ellroy's fingerprints on it, connecting it to stories like LA Confidential. But it feels a bit formulaic.

Keanu Reeves is OK as an unhinged, violent police detective. Forest Whitaker steals the show in the finale, bringing a little bit of unexpected depth and presence.

I really enjoyed that movie and it had some great actors in it, the storyline wasn't predictable at all even though I thought it was going to be one of those typical corrupt cop movies but it was tense and interesting. keanu was great

Fast pace, several twist, not too realistic

It was an enjoyable watch. Excellent acting from the guys not so much the women. There was several twists so it got a bit confusing. The action was realistic enough to give the film a quality feel. The main problem I had was I predicted the bad guys early on. Hugh Laurie is too type cast to be even remotely believable in this role.

excellent

Reeves gives a brilliant performance, in fact all performances are slick and convincing. The film is fast paced and keeps up momentum to the very end. The only slight niggle is that one or two things were a little predictable. Other than that this is a top notch action film obviously overseen by a talented director. As I say excellent and well worth the five star rating.

one of my favourite cop movies

I love this movie. Up there with training day but I prefer this movie. Really tough cop movie, bit dark but hard hitting. Keanu is great as are the rest of the cast. Bit of a Dr house moment in the movie lol!!

Daft plot and a wooden Keanu Reeves - but enjoyable for a couple of hours.

Take your brain out and give it a rinse whilst watching. You won't need it.
