Easily one of the best Spider-Man films ever

Really hard to go into detail about why it is so good as i don't want to give away any spoilers, but the storyline is so so good.

Anyone who loves Marvel, Spider-Man or superhero movies in general will enjoy this movie alot.

PS. It is definitely ideal to have watched the previous movie Far From Home, or atleast a recap before watching this.

Fun and pays homage to its legacy in the best ways possible

What a great movie this was. It feels like the closing of a chapter, while clearly setting the stage for the Doctor Strange movie that's coming up, but this doesn't falter or fail to pay tribute to the spider man movies that came before this one, without ever loosing sight of the task at hand, which is to deliver a fun, enjoyable, ride. It's a 2 and half hour movie, but it'll go fast, this movie is never boring. Image and sound are great, the Steelbook looks amazing, and the extras package is adequate while not stellar. There are a bunch of short documentaries and bloopers, but personally I'd have loved some deleted scenes and mostly an audio commentary or two. Recommended.

Marvel sold out, even though there is little to sell out

Is this a teenager movie? - Yes
Is there a sensible storyline? - No
Does the CGI look good? - There is not enough of it if you like unrealistically, rubbery animated video game graphics bouncing across the screen
Does Tom Holland’s whining, do-good Peter Parker annoy? - Yes, totally. Though I admit I’m partial here, our daughter having a crush on him is much more forgiving.
Is Tom Holland a better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield? - Absolutely, but this notion creates an even bigger problem with this multiverse movie.
Is Dr Strange a jerk? - yes.
Did I fall a asleep? - Oh yes, multiple times

So I slept mostly through it yet I did not fail to notice its wretchedness. We’ve watched all the Marvel movies during our weekly family movie evenings.. Some were horrendously bad, others surprised me positively. The children obviously loved them, so I kept my true feelings for my Amazon reviews. I never fall asleep while watching a movie of series, but the Marvel movies have this effect of causing a drowsiness on me.. With the better ones I only snooze maybe once or twice but with the worst I really struggle not to nod off of constantly. While we quite appreciated Far From Home, No Way Home was in that latter category.

To call this a mediocre movie would be far too generous. The story line is just too thin or non-existent, the jokes too sparse and a lot of airtime goes to Spidey’s ‘multiverse’. Well, while I always appreciate Daniel Dafoe, there was a reason why the Spider-Man movies took a new, refreshed and more successful direction with Tom Holland… while trying to avoid spoilers I would just say that the unnessceary ‘references’ to the previous Spider-Man franchises pull it down to that late 1990’s level of quality. As a result the last 1/3 of the movie is toe curling. Like with most Marvel movies I struggle to understand why this was a box office hit

Better Marvel spinoff than most.

An ok spinoff and much, much better than the previous (and most other) Spiderman movie(s). There's enough Dr Strange, Green Goblin & Doc Oc screentime to distract from the fact that Spidey just can't hold attention like Iron Man or Cap can. The reason Spiderman was good in the first place was always down to the villains. GG and DO were amongst the best baddies in the spiderverse and having them back is the main reason I watched this. The movie is, like most SM movies, 20 minutes too long and the whole thing is somewhat contrived but, it's fun enough if not really worth risking the fabric or reality for.

Being a fan of Spiderman since a kid in the 70's I have always looked up to Peter Parker as an idol. When the first movie came out in 2002 with Toby Maquire I was filled with excitement and could not wait to watch my favourite superhero on the big screen. Even though now I am an adult I wasn't really ecstatic about the movie. I wanted something slightly darker with an edge like they did with Batman Begins. So in truth, none of the movies to date has really made my childhood dreams come true. Then along came a spider with Tom Holland in it and the first two movies I think kept my concentration span for 20 mins each and ended up feeling rather deflated by the way they had changed Spiderman into a Lemon Popsicle gadget nerd. Probably okay for the new generation of spidy fans but not for us old skool fans. But...I say but...I must admit the third instalment in this franchise with Tom wasn't that bad and I managed to sit through the whole show without cringing. The first 10 mins was a bit goonie and I thought Oh dear here we go again. But it soon got slightly serious and I say to anyone out there who like me remembers the old spiderman and feels a bit sad by how they have changed our hero. Give this one a go.

Too soppy

I was geared up for this sequel. The action scenes are brilliant. Bringing back the previous movie spiderman and villains is very interesting as only "doc octopus " is the best one. but the while multi universe seems like i seen all before in the better animated spider man " into the spider verse" .

Too many soopy moments that seem to go on for too long. I was glad I could pause to make a cup of tea before those soppy moments make me fall sleep.

I am glad I am able fast forward the end credits to see " venom " in search of spider man also a preview of " doctor strange" sequel.

I do miss seeing "stan lee" popping in cameo roles in the Marvel movies. Truly missed!!!!
