These plain-coloured water shorts are made from 100% polyamide and are therefore robust and quick-drying. The Speedo pocket drainage system and a mesh liner prevent water inflation and allow the trousers to dry faster. Speedo logo print on the left thigh.

Small waist, slim legs. Size up may not cut it.

Always a bit dubious when people say their item is too small or too big as I tend to think they've just bought the wrong size. However.... these shorts are very small at the waist and narrow on the leg. All round uncomfortable to be honest. As with most things though I would suggest that a very lean or slim person may get away with the fit. My thighs are not slim, although I don't tend to have this issue.

I have used Speedo swim shorts for years and have no reason to change to another brand. The always give long service and last exceptionally well. The material shrugs off water and dries quickly.

I have ordered a second pair today, my advice is that when you find something that fits and performs as well as it should do buy another one and put it to one side. Nothing worse than trying to get the same really god item of clothing and finding it isn't made anymore.

I like it and bought it twice. The fit is slightly small. It has pockets and dries fast. Material is okay - can be used as shorts in emergency (not just swim shorts). Used it only a handful of times when I go for swimming occasionally in sea or pool. No loss in colour or damage.

Fantastic quality shorts, no problem with that but be warned you have to go a size up on your usual size, these equate to a size down on your usual size, make sure you go a size up, brilliant quality shorts otherwise.

Regarding Speedo swim trunks i wish to say how let down and disgusted i am with this item after three swims at the hotel the trunks are devoid of any colour from beautiful blue when purchased to a muddy pale green,just the waistband has any colour left at all. Speedo should be ashamed of themselves after many years of buying Speedo swim gear it is absolutely atrocious. Yet again another item made in China where quality control is none existent Made in China with cheap labour ,inferior fabric you will end up with cheap goods . Good quality product at a decent price, certainly makes an improvement from typical skull and crossbone designs in high street shops.

Also much better than some of the cheaper stuff found in stores like primark, my past pair from there ripped the first time I wore them.

Comfortable, look good and fit well.

BUT

I bought these in February, it's now July, they have quickly degraded over this time; the material can't stand up to chlorinated swimming pool water. They have faded and now the fabric has degraded so much they have ripped. Not good considering they are not even 5 months old. I expect better longevity and quality from a brand such as Speedo.
