Feels ok, but middle stitch (hello male camel toe) and not really chlorine resistant

Used it for about 14 sessions (1h-1h30 each on average) in a chlorine pool.

Good: I like the off center tie-up which also need one less loop. Feels nice overall on the body.

Bad: After 14 sessions they are already quite saggy compared to first 1-2 sessions, so not really chlorine resistant. I don't fancy buying a new one every 2 weeks. They also have the dreaded front stitch down the middle, which gives us males a visible camel toe, prompting some crafty crotch maneuvers to avoid it (to me this is a disadvantage, but to each his own). I finally found some without this middle stitch from a competitor.

Thought they were good but after just 5 days on holiday with them they are looking used and legs are looking baggy as material gives way - not good quality material. Disappointed

I decided to get a size 32, which is one size above what I usually am because I know from experience with Speedo's that your normal size will be too small.

These fit me perfectly and were very comfortable. If I had gotten my usual size, that would definitely have been far too small and tight.

This also has a drawstring on the inside of the trunks which can be tightened to make it more secure.

I would recommend, if purchasing these, to get a size above what you usually are for better comfort. Even if it is slightly loose, you have a drawstring to tighten them. Better to get a slightly loose one that can be tightened than to get a pair that you can't even get into. This will save you the hassle of returning them to get a larger pair.

Duncurin has been trying out these super Endurance+ trunks courtesy of Speedo and Vine. Some months ago a national Rugby team were staying at my local gym, health spa. The lads were up in the gym and working out and then later they went down into the pool. Of course the lads were young, fit and physically tuned, shall I say. I saw that in the pool they all wore the same very skimpy trunks – known as budgie smugglers. Of course all the lads looked great and all had the physique to justify such a choice. For the rest of us however it strikes me that something a little more demure is the order of the day. Many swim in swim shorts but to my mind these just fill with water and then you have to swim dragging them all the while through the water with you.
These Speedo Endurance are a perfect compromise because they don’t cause a lot of drag and hold a load of water but yet they still look great and are more forgiving for those of us who have less tuned bodies than the rugby lads did. This being said I am still amazed by how some really really tubby men with massive bellies still attempt to squeeze themselves into very close fitting swimwear.
Size 32 is a teeny bit large for my waist. I usually wear a similar pair of speedos with the white stitching and these are size 30 but are now showing signs of wear and tear from the chlorine in the water and multiple washings from wearing them twice a week since I got them a few years ago! These Speedos under review are all black and look fabulous. They are forgiving and tend to disguise nicely the odd roll of fat etc that one accumulates over Christmas. The inner draw string tends to make them feel secure and they don’t fall, slip or sag. They are closely applied to the torso when on so that swimming is much easier with no extra drag. After swimming they rinse really well, spin in the suit spinner and can easily be washed and dried for the next trip to the pool. Above all they feel really comfortable and though I don’t think my appearance or efforts in the pool are going to stand comparison in any way with the rugby lads – at least I feel comfortable and secure in these Speedos and can even get a few lengths in to boot! Good quality and fit close to body

These are a good quality pair of swim shorts, perfect for the more serious of swimmers amongst us. I found the sizing to be pretty bang on and they fit tightly around the body. The drawstring adds some extra security although the waistband is tight enough anyway for me. The quality of them is great and the stitching is well done so they should last for quite some time. Being chlorine resistant they are perfect for the swimming baths and due to the material, they dry nice and quickly.

Overall, I’m happy with these swim shorts from Speedo and the price of them isn’t too bad considering the quality and history of the brand. I also reviewed the swim briefs which were the same size and I found the sizing and fitment on those slightly better but not by much. I’m not a huge fan of the stitching down the front middle of these shorts but this is more of a personal thing. Everything else about them is great and I’m happy to recommend them.

They fit well and after a few months use they have retained their shape.

FIT

They are the classic shape for speedos, and can be obligatory if you're visiting France. They obviously show your bits a little, but my motto is 'if you're got it, flaunt it.'.
However they do not help in COLD water.

I’m afraid my review is based on what I feel I can safely judge without using these swimming trunks, as the pair that arrived are too small for me to even try squeezing into, let alone inflicting the resulting sight on others at the swimming pool. It’s a shame, as they look well made, and well designed. I normally use baggy swimming shorts, but as I am getting back into swimming more seriously, something more streamlined would be useful. Had these fitted, they look like they would do the job. Given how many good reviews they receive, I may well order another pair in a larger size.
