The Source Park

7.91 h 30 min201813+
Over the course of two years, this story follows two brothers, Marc and Richard Moore during a huge restoration project based in the East Sussex coastal town of Hastings. Their idea was simple, to build the world's largest underground skate park underneath the promenade of Hastings seafront inside a space that dates back to the 1800's and has laid derelict for the past eighteen years.

Definitely deserving of 5 stars and the high IMDb rating. The documentary was beautifully put together, interesting and captivating. Two amazing brothers and their many amazing friends overcame huge obstacles and challenges to fulfil their ever expanding vision for BMX and Skateboarding. They deserve every success for all their hardwork, determination and vision. These are the people we need to make society better for everyone rather than the useless politicians we have put up with for 100's of years.
To see the brothers succeed made my heart soar and brought tears of happiness seeing the park open. I'm determined to visit Hastings to see Source Park with friends.

Incredibly Inspiring

This documentary covers all angles, which I enjoyed. How these guys went from one little shop to building the worlds largest underground skatepark is awesome. Super inspiring, and what they've done is brilliant for the local community. The documentary incorporates stories from a lot of different people which really helps give a sense of the passion for BMX within the community. At the end of it, you find yourself cheering for everyone involved with The Source. Definitely worth a watch!

Interesting for everyone - not just bikers/boarders

This is a really interesting documentary on source park and the BMX/skateboard scene in Hastings. I watched this as someone who has never BMXed but had a spare afternoon to watch a film and picked this documentary. It was really heartwarming to see the local community all work together to achieve something and actually to have been the local council on board too. Also , it was lovely to see the brother's relationship make this whole project worm. Loved the editing and some really nice camera shots. Recommend to all who have a spare hour and a half, not just bikers!

We love the Skate park
We love the Skate park, the Source guys have killed it and this documentary shows just a portion of that! What a great community, the girls nights, the under 11's - even if you don't BMX or skate - you should visit at least once!

That painter guy has a cheeky grin too - i hope we see more of him!

Really enjoyed this!
Great way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon while not out on your bike! I've shopped with the Source for years and great to see the history of how it's grown along with what they went through to get the skatepark developed. Even my parents who know nothing about BMX loved seeing the contribution to Hastings! Really motivating!
