This isn't dependent on the plot or genre. It is just pure top quality entertainment.
The amazing cast give their all in this.
The pace is right throughout.
Watch the first Sister Act first if you can and haven't already.

Still a great film!

I haven't seen the Sister Act films for many years and thought why not give it another viewing. Glad I did as I found myself once again singing along with Whoopi and her choir of kids. Definitely a case of the sequel standing on it's own as proof of a great musical director and all the actors gelling together to make the story believable. Highly recommend

If you have not seen "Sister Act" do go for it first. Some aspects of the original movie get referred to in this one - certainly a lot of the connecting background is. Its not essential to do so - by any means - to the see the Original "Sister Act" first; but doing so, adds to the impact of Sister Act 2.

This follow on from the original is just as engaging with lots of "Feel Good" factor. Don't expect any kind of Hollywood Blockbuster, or profound statement on life ...... just sit back and enjoy a "guilty pleasure" for once without searching for the "inner meaning of life" :)

The movie is great fun, and the songs exceptional ....... great stuff ..... Enjoy :)

Fantastic Whoopi Goldberg and the Feel Good Factor!

No matter how many times I watch this, I get the same good feeling as the first time. It's fun, heart-warming, restores your faith in human nature and has darned good music as well. The casting was brilliant, the acting amazing and the singing was wonderful. I love every minute of this and Sister Act (the first one).

Not as good as Sister Act 1 - the initial storyline is not as convincing but the singing is good and it goes onto have a positive message.

Sister Act is a great classic and real stands the test of time. It conveys a message of hope and perseverance and hugely entertaining with great visual and it is also funny but with a good dose of humour

Enough of the same and different to make it a great sequel to Sister Act

A very enjoyable feel good film that has some funny moments. If you enjoyed the first film, the key cast members are back with aveangance. The plot is very different from the first film although the choir theme continues.
