Well put together but very childish and lacking in depth

The visual level of detail and animation are great and overall it feels nicely executed from a technical point of view.

I was hoping for something more interesting, given the reviews, but for me this was the most boring animation I've ever seen. The target audience are children and it has nothing to offer to others: funny faces, squeaky noises, flat characters, etc. It feelt like a generic saturday morning cartoon with a big production.

Easy for adults or kids to watch

Excellent film and I'm not sure (if I'm totally honest) if this was bought for our 3 1/2 year old or for us ;-)
We've already watched this a number of times and it's a good addition to the collection. I've little fear of it becoming one of "those" films that are hated with a passion after the repeat button gets jammed by the toddler :-p

Great entertainment, good for young and old alike.

Great characters, children will love the story, a few scenes that may be a little scary for the very young but no real violence, the outcome is good and the morality is well played. Lessons learned, friendship, loyalty.

I needed to get a good quality video to have a "Movie Afternoon" with my granddaughters, quickly. This was a great film and good quality, streamed from Amazon. We all enjoyed it and I get to view it again......!

It was ok as it goes & probably entertaining for smaller kids.
The title is misleading as yes it does all happen in a day whilst pet owners are out but isn't as you would expect, ie what pets get up to at home.

Wonderful film, especially the first half. Great to find a film which adults and children alike can enjoy together. Characterisations are superb, human frailties and idiosyncrasies reflected in their pets. Definitely recommend.

Best animated movie I've seen in years!

Hilarious movie, great bright and vibrant animation, story is well written. My son has watched it a good 40 times in the last few months. And I never get bored of him watching it again. Love it and can't wait for the sequel.
