- Customer reviews:
Pescura is the only real, inimitable Scholl wooden mule, the veritable icon of the collection that has accompanied the adventures of generations of people in the 1970s and continues to win over Scholl Lovers thanks to the particular construction of its insole and its rather retro style. In fact, it is characterised by a pure beech wood anatomical insole that helps you to walk properly and to tone up feet and legs. The leather upper is fastened by means of the classic logoed metal buckle. The flat version for those who love a more casual, modern style.

But there is something about the old ones that makes me like them better, despite the fact that they are designed slightly narrower.
I'm not sure whether it is the more deeply carved wood (footrest), or the edges of the rubber (sole) are different.....Oh yes:
The Pescuras of 2003 measure 8 mm in the front and 11 mm in the rear side (wood's thickness). But these Pescuras measure 12 and 15 respectively, so this is the reason why they feel so rigid and not as comfortable as the old ones.
Well...I wish they remake them.
A work out in a shoe.
Thought I would buy them again only to find they cut out their Brand Name Scholl on the inner aspect of the
sandal at the heel. As it is engraved into the sandal your heel can feel the engraved name Scholl as it is rough.
I do not know why any one making shoes would engrave inside a wooden clog where the heel lies?
I cannot wear the pescura's with bare feet and even through tights you can feel this rough branding.
I have e-mailed Scholl and made them aware of this design fault and perhaps they may move the branding to the outside of the clog.
