The finish on them looks ok, and the leather parts seem well made.
Actually on putting the boots on, I could easily get them past my mid;foot; a feat usually requiring a lot of grunitng and cursing, loosneing of shoelaces, re-attemots, more grunting and cursing.
So, quite easy to put on compared to many boots I have tried.
They fit very snugly one tied in and adjusted, and I do not find I need to fully unlace the whole boot to wear them again.
Wore these boots for a night shift in a busy hospital, rather expecting to regret that decision by the morning, but actually found no difficulties in "breaking in" these boots, my feet did not suffer, and in fact I was in less pain than I was with my old shoes; I found these boots gave good support without seeming to need my FEET to adjust to the boot.
One small quibble I have is that the top lining of the boot seems easily moved around...I have very restless toes, especially when sitting at a desk, and frequently find my toes are able to gradually wear away and displace the inner lining of all kinds of shoes...nothing an added insole couldn't fix though.
On inspection that night I found that the sole was coming away from the base of the boot. I also found that the left boot had not been seated correctly when it was made causing the body to be at a slight angle (which is why it was rubbing the ankle and why it felt like I was leaning while walking).
The first pair were really comfortable and do an amazing job, shame the second pair weren't up to the same standards.
which can easily dislocate your ankle. I as a matter of fact have hurt my ankle whilst walking twice. The shoe doesn't have a good grip either meaning you can just slip and fall quite easily. It's not because of my size as I am normally exactly this size, most of my shoes are 11 and even the ones that are bigger or smaller feel better. Don't buy
The boots are comfortable, warm and are still in a decent shape.
They aren't as tought as leather booth but perfectly acceprable for CCF.
Laces are nice and easy to use as it tightens the whole boot easily and overall comfort was spot on. I did however rub the skin of a very small portion of my Ankle but I think thats because I didn't wear these in before running around in them!
Would definately recommend to friends and family .
