The bit he gets frustrated with is the lack of just pure black trainers in Solomon footware & that the company should look to producing more in that line, not Amazon's problem but maybe something that the company should do.
I don't particularly like the lace up system.
The sides of the shoe are very open to air and water.
On the whole, I feel it is quite an ugly shoe.
I had a nasty fall and head injury requiring surgery while wearing different walking shoes.
For this reason, confidence, I wanted new shoes.
Salomon do a more expensive version of this shoe with non slip soles and Gortex.
If I get on with these shoes, I will buy, even more expensive shoes.
The shoes are quite narrow and there is some flexibility in the sole. This means they feel different from my previous walking shoes, and I think I am less likely to slip.
The ice has gone now for this year!
