Rockport Shoes - A Great fit!

I bought a pair of these shoes in 2017 when we were in the States. They fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable. I was going to buy the same shoes again this year when we were due to go to Florida but the trip was cancelled because of the virus. I checked on line and saw that Amazon had them in stock so ordered them. They were shipped from the States and arrived in 10 days! Brilliant service by Amazon! Thank you!

This is a great pair of trainers. They are comfortable, lightweight and stylish. I bought the wide fit, if you have narrow heels an wide instep then the rockport wide fit is perfect. I bought size 10.5, this is my normal size , they fit to size really well. The look is between shoes an trainers so you get away with these and a smart pair of trousers.

Real Leather?

I am very disappointed with these shoes. Based on the description, I expected the upper portion of the shoes to be real leather; however, the part that covers the top of the toes and foot has cracked and peeled like some sort of vinyl. The shoes are no longer attractive looking even if they are not uncomfortable. I have only worn them in good weather and they began to crack along the crease of the toe almost immediately. Perhaps these shoes meet Rockport's (apparently low) standards, but they do not meet mine. I had expected better. Be warned: if you want to purchase a pair of genuine leather shoes, better look elsewhere. I probably won't purchase Rockport shoes again. These let me down within a couple of months.

I've only used for a month and the tread pattern on bottom is wearing out already. 2nd time in 3 years I've bought these shoes and the first pair was built better. They've cheapened out on the materials. I still have the old shoes to compare to. I bought them again because I liked the quality of the first pair. I have been mistaken. For the price I'd expect the same quality as before. But in my opinion they now compare to an overseas no name brand worth $30.

I have worn Rockports for years and they have always been my go-to quality for walking shoes. These were very disappointing. I bought them for walking my dog. I used them daily for about a month. Once the warmer weather comes I generally wear sandals so I have not worn them much until the last week. The soles are very worn for relatively new shoes. The material in the uppers does not soften up like leather. Instead it seems to have become stiffer, is splitting and digs into my foot where it bends as I walk. Certainly not the quality I have always come to expect from Rockport.

Disappointing

Don't think this is up to Rockports usual standard. I know they are made in varying areas throughout Asia so I think some are better than others. The eyelets on these shoes are that small it is difficult for laces to tighten. Extremely difficult to remove laces as holes so small. Had to use a hole puncher to enlarge the eyelets. Haven't worn them enough yet to comment on their wear attributes.

Shoe fit is a VERY personal matter, but for me, with feet that are relatively narrow and arches that are a bit flat, these shoes are perfect right out of the box. This is the third pair I've purchased and they all feel exactly the same. Quality is good, actually better than you'd expect for shoes selling for less than a hundred bucks. I really hope Rockport continues making this line!

I bought these for my husband who has very wide feet. Nice looking shoes. They are not quite as wide as the previous wide rockport shoes he had but fit fairly well and will do. The soles are very light which is nice but somehow don’t feel like they are going to last as long. For the price we are very pleased and they fit as expected.

Al mes de la compra, la piel de ambos zapatos en la parte del empeine se agrieto, venia muy seca, mala experiencia al comprar zapatos a distancia, no se si el fabricante manda saldos que no pasaron control de calidad, considero que la marca rockport es de buena calidad mas no fue así en esta compra.
Directo con el fabricante que podría aplicarse como garantía? o mandarles los zapatos para que los valoren? Pésima calidad en la piel, no se cumplía ni el mes y ya la piel estaba reseca y agrietada.
