Low Budget shot well but annoying

This movie is shot very well with excellent camera work although is all over the place you wont know what's going on and that is the point of the movie to keep you guessing although all it ends up doing is being confusing and annoying.

The Monsters are very unconvincing and look cheap and aren't scary in the slightest due to their cumbersome movements that look like the actors are having difficulty moving in the costumes. Weird choices such as eye makeup on the main actor looks over the top in some scenes which I thought was a poor choice.

Speaking of the actors they perform very well for what they have.

Again the camera work is well done although it just looks like the director had all the best equipment but feels like a very low budget movie where all the cost went into camera equipment and drones and little was left over for special effects and costume design.

I'm sure with more money and better storylines they could go on to making great movies.

I'm going to go check out the new Wrong Turn movie and hopefully that's better coming off the back of this.

stupid men take drugs and get lost on a mountain while seeing a monster or maybe not

The title pretty much explains the whole plot. A groom-to-be and his best man go on a mountain schlep for a 'stag party' type thing. They take some random 'psychedelic tea' and have bad trips or maybe it's a monster or maybe one of them is a monster or maybe it's all a nightmare or maybe it's an alternate reality or maybe it's really true or maybe it's a vision or maybe it's true etc etc. The monster is very disappointing too...thought they were going to do the old 'oh the monster only comes out in the dark so you can't really see it' thing but then you get to see more of it and they shoulda kept it in the dark.

Just brilliant

I'm a massive horror fan and spend (far too many) hours scanning through all the dross trailers on Prime hoping to find the hidden gems and this film was certainly one of them. Excellent production values, strong cast and a fantastic plot enliven what could have been just another 'lost in the woods' mess. A central premise of the plot is the toying with the main character by the Wendigo, and his seemingly being offered pathways to a possible moral redemption whilst playing out the dreadful alternatives, but it also plays great a a straight out monster horror. This exploration (plus the production values) are what lifts this way beyond a normal run of the mill creature feature. An intelligent and terrifying film. Wish I could give it 10 stars. If you like this you'll also really enjoy The Ritual.

There's nothing to it

Honestly a waste of an hour and forty minutes. I was Hoping for a good time but it but ended up being a waste of time. The move had four songs and one jumpscare noise thru out the entire movie, which gets repetitive after the second time you hear it. The storyline is almost non existent and the end was lackluster to say the least.

I would recommend to not waste your money or time on this as i did.
