Its you against the Rat!

I have found over the last few months that rather than rave about one type of bait, treat bait and traps as part of an arsenal against them. Rats are clever, they have preferences, they are cautious.Yes a type of bait may deal with an infestation but I am increasingly finding that by offering a choice of different types, rats may take small amounts of each rather than eat a small amount of just one thing.I found grain like these to be opened up and eaten more than bait blocks I purchased but it is not just what you buy it is also where and how you place it. I direct baited this in a 3" gap between the shed they have dug under and the side fence (as advised by pest controller who was only allowed to put bait down in bait boxes) I put a cctv camera in the gap and watched (Ratcam). One rat eat all six packets over as many days but was still around for a long time after ( this was a huge rat) and although you may think you are fighting one or two as soon as you get rid of them ones you haven't seen before suddenly appear. Don't be afraid to use different types of rat killer,I only bought a few sachets of these but need to get more.The rats have a bigger food budget than I do lately. I found rat traps to be no good( much too small for mine), they even dug around them without setting them off . I will try 'paste' types next and keep going in the hope eventually the Rat problem will go.

Mr. Mouse just wouldn't learn his lesson. He decided to move back in last month after a year of absence, so twice more I caught him with a humane catch & release trap and twice more he returned. Now he's mocking me -- he brought friends. And they're all avoiding the trap completely now, despite loading it up with chocolate and everything. So a lesson was definitely learned, just not the one I was hoping for.

I didn't wanna have to do this, but you've forced my hand, Mr. Mouse.

They've gobbled it all up. Now we wait.

Oh, the top review is wrong btw, this poison (Brodifacoum) is a powerful anticoagulant that also increases blood vessel permeability, causing progressively worsening internal bleeding -- this is what kills the rodents after a few days, not dehydration.

I would not recommend if you are very sensitive and have pets. The killer did not work as have a very smart mouse and it know to stay away from the bag. So I opened a bag and laid some pellets into a disposable dish and with in 30 mins myself and 2 of my kids was getting a headache even thou the poison was placed at one end of my home and we was at the other end. I was even concerned regarding my baby cockatiel health as was scarring me if it can make myself and my 18 year old and 21 year old have headaches what it can do to my featherd friend. I had to keep my doors and windows open for best part of an evening to get rid of the fumes. THIS WAS NO ISSUES ON WITH THE CELLER AND TAKE FULL RESPONSABLE AS DID NOT READ UP THE INSTRUCSTIONS I JUST OPENED THE CONTENTS AFTER NEARLY 2 WEEKS OF PUTING THE UNOPENED BAG IN CERTAIN ROOMS AND THIS VERY CLEVER MOUSE WILL NOT TAKE THE BAIT. Please please don't open the bag. Thank you seller for quick delivery.

Having suffered from rats in the attic, this bait/poison has been the best I've used by far. Within hours of placing the bait it was soon taken, and after a few days no more rats have been seen or heard !
I have tried other well known baits with limited results, but this product has worked extremely well from the outset.

Have tried all the natural options and pesky rat just like it too much under my bird feeders. Ignored all the mint/cat litter etc so forced to move the bird feeders further up the garden. Mixture of flour/sugar and bicarbonate of soda got some attention but then more baby rats appeared. So no choice but to get out bait traps and bait with heavier poison.
Easy to administer in small packages that can be handled simple and with care. Green colour showed that this bait was certainly well liked and soon taken up! Had to buy a second lot but apparently the rats have smartly moved elsewhere although only 1 body and a very sick large rat observed. So clearly works well and speedily.
