Great for engraving using CO2 laser

I had an urgent short notice order come in for a set of engraved slate coasters.
I had none of my usual stock and so ordered these ones to use.
They worked really well and engraved nice and deep and clear with the logos and text I was sent.
They seem to be pretty solid and they are nice and flat.
I can't rate on how good they are for using under a cup or mug but I imagine based on the time they were in my care that they are pretty good.
Overall very happy.

Initially great but soon deteriorated

When these arrived I was very happy with them, however they have quickly deteriorated. Despite low usage they are crumbling leaving slate specs and dust all over my table, they stain really quickly with any water, and what looked quite stylish initially actually just looks rubbish and messy now. I've thrown them out after a couple of months.

Very pleased! They are a very nice quality, fits easily a big mug. One of the pads was missing on one of them. I had some spare which was white. Coloured it with marker waterproof marker pen and replaced the missing one. Did not want to return as knew I could rectify the problem. Would buy again.
