I’m 5’2 and size 12, I decided to go for the size L just to be safe.
As you can see they fit perfectly and are very flattering, no sign of camel toe, doesn’t make my bum look like a flat pancake.
I would definitely recommend these they are also squat proof.

I am a size 12 and I originally ordered the large (as you can see from the picture, I hold most of my weight in my thighs and bottom) but found the large to be way too big on my waist. So sent that back and ordered a medium and they are great. My thighs are muscular and big, but the shorts cling without being uncomfortable. The material is very stretchy and so comfy. I wear these for yoga and running, and both activities are made comfortable due to the flexibility and softness of the fabric. The pockets are helpful, but for running I always wear my running band anyway. If you’re a size 12 with a slim waist, but ‘pear’ shaped hips, I do think the M would be for you!
update: I bought the snow leopard in a size medium like my others, but these went a bit see through when wearing so I have returned.
I did think originally that the price was quite expensive, but actually, I am wearing these a lot, so it’s price per wear.

When I initially put them on, they did not feel as snug as other shorts that I have. However I thought I’d take them for a run to see if they move about at all. They’re actually really great. They do ride up a little, maybe an inch or so, but then even my lululemon’s do.
They’re a lighter fabric than others I’ve tried which is nice and cool. Not see through.
I bought the snow leopard print in a size small. I’m a uk 10 (27inch waist, 37inch hips)I think they’re flattering and they are super comfortable, with a high waistband that doesn’t roll down.
Would definitely recommend.
Also now have the blue and snakeskin - amazing!
19/6/2021 Update - I have bought the colourful tie dye which my little boy calls my ‘unicorn shorts’ because of the bright swirly colours. As per previous pairs, they’re a great fit, super for running, non-see through. Since discovering these shorts, I have not bought anymore from lululemon. I’ve had my first pair for over a year, and they have been worn and washed multiple times with no stretching or popping seams. More colours/patterns please Persit?

Edit: I took these for a 5 mile run with my iPhone SE in the back pocket (same size as iPhone 8 but waterproof) and the shorts were perfect. I’ve just ordered a second pair!

Really like these, great value for money. I ordered a size large as I don't like tight shorts and have been burned before with manufacturers saying my measurements are a medium but then the product feels like wearing a gimp suit... I wear a UK 12/14 and have a 30 inch waist. These are just a touch loose in the leg but otherwise perfect, would be great for those with bigger thighs. I did a treadmill 5km tempo run and they stayed put with no wrinkling or riding up and have washed well. Probably the lightest shorts I have worn with minimal sweating even indoors on a hot day. Only problem for me is the waist top seam is not super flattering, its about 5mm wide and sits right in the softest part of my tummy, but this is a common problem for me. My long running tights are under armour heat gear which are the most flattering but they don't come in short lengths :( and are very expensive. These are an excellent alternative and the colours are fabulous. I would definitely purchase more.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2020

I'm quite fussy when it comes to yoga wear, and I've struggled to find a high waist cyclist short that was not revealing, but also comfy and that wouldn't roll up your thighs or down your belly. This one does it all! If you've got round thighs/bossom like me and a thin waist, it is perfect. It's a bit tight around the thighs but at least it doesn't budge. I also wore it while cyclist and it did the job. I would buy another pair but the colours are not my cup of tea. I'm usually a size 12 (40 EU) and I got an M.
