The Story of the Name "Pepe Jeans"

There’s an interesting story behind the brand’s name and logo, too. Back in the day, Nitin Shah decided to shorten the original name and started calling the company PEPE. When Pepe's photographer stopped by to drop off a box of prints, he left a scribbled note

“To: Pepe Jeans”, and the new name was born. This squiggly handwritten note also inspired the logo that’s still used to this day.
