5.0 out of 5 stars Credit where credit’s due
By S C Chapman on 28 January 2021
I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but sometimes you have to give credit where credit is due. After a 10 day test on these boots in Yorkshire we have had two days of a foot of snow followed by two days of flooding, four days of hard freeze and two days of thaw and ankle deep mud. I bought these because my old pair of dog walkers gave up the ghost after 18-24 months and started leaking. My checklist is short - do they fit? Yes, a perfect 12. Are they waterproof? Yes, not a drop of seepage despite the atrocious conditions. Are they comfortable? Well, I read one review that said they were like walking on wooden boards. All I can say, is that person has never done any significant distance in a pair of combat boots. These boots are perfectly comfy. I’d happily do the three peaks with nothing on my feet but these and a pair of thick socks. Do I expect them to last forever? No. If they do another 18-24 months then for this price, I’m happy.
