5.0 out of 5 stars Five star performance for a bargain price.
By Mr. JH Leslie on 26 May 2018
I'm on my third pair. I walk an average of 10 miles a day across fields, along muddy paths and through woodland but not normally up any hill higher than 300 meters. I am retired and it's part of my fitness regime. I used to buy Scarpa, Berghaus and other fancy brands, I even had a pair of Meindl once, but none of them last for more than 9 months usage. And then I decided to try a pair of these, quite frankly they are every bit as good if what you are looking for is performance, the furthest I've walked in a single day with these on is 28 miles. Of course if you are influenced by the label then these are definitely not for you but if you want performance don't look any further.
Update: I've been asked whether they are as light as other boots and so I've weighed these and an old pair of Scarpa boots that have been demoted to gardening. You can see that they are actually slightly lighter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pair of Walking Boots
By Amazon Customer on 3 August 2017
This is my 4th Pair. Highly recommend wear them everyday walking my dogs across Rivers, Forests & the Beach plenty of Dubbin never let me down, Downside the last two pairs have split see photo making them useless but after about two & half years of daily use that's not bad. Comfy from the start little effort required to wear in. Would highly recommend. And when your done there's always another use for them again see photo.

1.0 out of 5 stars Product Return Window: 4 weeks. Boot Lasts 6 weeks.
By Shoeless on 13 October 2018
These boots are, sadly, useless. They are advertised as being waterproof but just after four weeks, right after the return window, my left foot was starting to become wet on the walks.

Two weeks later the cause was found. The sole on the left boot is becoming adrift from the upper. I have only used these boots for light walking with the dog, on average walking about five miles a day, across farm tracks, paths and, sometimes, tarmac surfaces.

The right boot hasn't leaked yet, but it's clear that this boot's sole is starting to separate from the upper in much the same way.

Some other reviewers have mentioned that they are continually re-tightening the boot laces as the structure of the boot shifts during walking and I am finding the same. This I can live with as it's a cheaper boot but what I can't is the fact that the boots have been badly made.

I have contacted the seller to request a refund and I will report back.

As far as this review goes: until they fix this quality issue then these boots cannot be recommended at all as they are clearly Not Fit For Purpose.
