Material & quality:
They make these liners from a lovely soft material that feels very comfortable on. In fact, I had totally forgotten they were there whilst I was wearing them.
The downside to the material used, although a sensory dream, is that they present a problem on hard flooring – things can get slippery.
A great bonus to this is they work great with ab sliders or for using exercise bands doing abduction exercises – you get better range of motion and they become quite entertaining.
Sizing was pushing it for me. Slightly smaller than I expected for a medium – but got away with it. If I could go back, I’d have a large as I shrink 99.9% of all textile items that enter this house.
The silicon heel grip is a genius idea – thanks to whoever thought of that! It really is a massive pain when they pop off your heels and start rolling up like clingfilm used one too many times – these don’t. They stay put, and I instantly forgave the sizing being off for including this gem.
As usual, I didn’t follow any manufacturer’s instructions and committed all the washing faux pars you can think of – towels, trainers and anything else I could stuff in joined these liners for a little spin. I reasoned If they could survive one of my wash cycles, they’re going the distance.
I’m pleased to say that that they survived and after a line dry were back on and hadn’t got any noticeable shrinkage or loss of shape.
Overall, I recommend these liners. They are comfortable and have the holy grail feature for anything that clings to a heel – a gripper. A solid 4 out of 5 from me. Would have been 5 out of 5, but I feel the sizing may be slightly off.
. Have a built-in heel gripper
. Soft material
